Group of Four Private Barossa Wine Tour with Lunch

Description
Your people. Your Barossa. This private Barossa wine experience is exclusively for your Group of Four. I'll collect you from your Barossa Valley accommodation and spend the day introducing you to wineries, landscapes and places I think you'll enjoy, with no strangers on board and no large tour group setting the pace. I'm Charles, your local Barossa Valley Guide. I live here, host every tour personally and know the cellar doors, villages and back roads that give the Barossa its character. Your day can be personalised around wineries and wine styles that interest you, or simply leave the decisions to me. Wine tastings and a generous charcuterie lunch are included. Valley Wine Tours was named Best Boutique Wine Tour Operator 2026, Barossa Valley. Four people. One private tour. No strangers. Finish the wine. Keep the memories. Staying a little longer? I also offer Clare Valley wine tours, with complimentary transport from the Barossa.

Charles was a fun, informative man, I actually said to him, we are enjoying our Mystery Tour, he took us to some beautiful smaller wineries where staff were lovely to us. Highly recommend 👌🍷🥂
I had to smile at your description of it as a "Mystery Tour". Part of the fun is discovering smaller wineries along the way, each with its own character and friendly welcome. A day shared with good friends, good wine, and a few surprises is never a bad combination. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and for recommending my tour.
We had an amazing private tour for 4 of us with lunch. Charles was amazing, a perfect mix of info about the area, knowledgeable about all the wineries and knows exactly where to go for authentic and not mass marketed experiences. Charles tailored it to our tastes and we couldn’t have had a better day. Highly recommend.
It was a pleasure hosting your Group of Four Barossa Valley wine tour. As a Barossa Valley Guide, I always enjoy matching the day to the interests of the guests, mixing authentic cellar doors with the stories and personalities that make the region special. I’m glad the wineries, lunch, and relaxed pace came together so well for your group, and I really enjoyed showing you a more personal side of the Barossa.
Our girls trip thoroughly enjoyed our day tour with Charles in the Barossa Valley! Great quality vineyards and perfect lunch venue! Charles knowledge and knowing our interests were attestment to his high level attention to detail!
It was great fun hosting your Group of Four Barossa Valley wine tour. A girls trip through the Barossa should feel relaxed, enjoyable, safe, and a little indulgent, so I’m glad the wineries and lunch venue suited your group so well. Matching the cellar doors to your interests is always an important part of the day, and I enjoyed the conversations and laughter along the way.
We loved our tour. Highlight of the trip! Charles was a great host. The places he chose for us to visit showcased the Barossa. He had great knowledge of the area and wines. It was a very entertaining day. The photos at the end were really appreciated. Highly recommend!
It was a pleasure hosting your Group of Four Barossa Valley wine tour. I’m glad the day became a highlight of your trip and that the mix of cellar doors gave a good sense of what the Barossa has to offer. Sharing the wines, stories, and a few laughs along the way always makes for a memorable day. I’m pleased the photos were a nice way to finish it off.
Charles was an amazing guide! He went above and beyond to create a day that was structured yet flexible, he had incredible knowledge of the region and even took photos along the way, sending them to us after the tour. We had such an amazing experience, never felt rushed, and got to visit a variety of sub-regions in the Barossa. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a tour of the Barossa!!
It was a pleasure hosting your Group of Four Barossa Valley wine tour. I’m glad the day struck the right balance between structure and flexibility, with time to explore a few different Barossa sub-regions along the way. Having the space to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed is what makes the experience, and I’m pleased that came through. The photos are always a nice way to look back on the day.
Such a fun, relaxed tour. We loved our time with Charles. He was knowledgeable and gave us so much information and made sure we had a great time!
It was a pleasure having you along for a Group of Four Barossa Valley wine tour. Keeping the day relaxed while exploring a range of cellar doors is what the region does best, so I’m glad you enjoyed that side of it. There’s always something new to discover in the Barossa, and I’m pleased it made for such a fun day out.
We had an amazing day touring the Barossa with our guide Charles. Fantastic experience! He took us to some lovely wineries and was really knowledgable about the area and the wine. We would highly recommend booking this tour especially as its tailored to whatever suits you. Charles took us to wineries we hadnt been to before and to some we knew we wanted to visit. Great day out, would book again with Charles.
It was a great day to be out in the Barossa Valley during Gather Round. I enjoyed shaping the wine tour around what you already knew and mixing in a few new cellar doors along the way. That balance is what keeps a Barossa wine tour interesting, especially when you have some favourites in mind. I’m glad the wineries, stories, and relaxed pace all came together for you, and I’d be very happy to show you more of the region next time.
Group of two - Charles gave us a wonderful day, visiting vineyards, learning the history of the area, and having a wonderful lunch. The tastings were informative and the wines were varied and delicious. We would have no hesitation in recommending his company. Enjoy!
It was a pleasure spending the day with you in the Barossa Valley. Taking the time to explore the vineyards, talk through the local history, and enjoy a relaxed lunch is what makes a Barossa wine tour so enjoyable. I’m glad you enjoyed the variety of wines and found the tastings informative without feeling rushed. Sharing the region at an easy pace is always rewarding, and I enjoyed your company throughout the day.
Awesome experience! We went along with Charles to multiple wineries where he was able to share his vast knowledge of wines and the local history of Barossa. Day was well structured and went to a variety of vineyards based on what Charles thought we would be interested in. He’s a great chatter and would recommend if you’re getting into your wine journey or if you even already have a great knowledge of wine.
It was great spending the day with you both in the Barossa Valley. A wine tour really suits a road trip like yours, with time to explore a mix of vineyards and tailor the stops as the day unfolds. I enjoyed sharing the local history and wine stories, and I am glad the variety of wineries matched your interests. Enjoy Glenelg and Hahndorf before the drive back to Victoria, and I hope the Barossa memories stay with you long after the journey.
Charles was a wonderful host. Not only was this a wine tour it was a history and geography lesson as well! We went to a number of hand picked wineries where we sampled local Barossa wines. Lunch was served overlooking the Atze winery being entertained by Isabel & her husband. If you are looking to go on a private tour of the Barossa valley I couldn’t recommend Charles more highly as an experienced and knowledgeable guide.
Thank you for your lovely review. I am really glad you enjoyed your Barossa Valley Wine Tour with lunch. It was a pleasure spending the day with you both and sharing the wines, history, and landscapes of the Barossa Valley. Staying at Jacobs Creek Retreat was a perfect base for exploring the region, and even the local flies made a brief appearance, which is all part of the Australian experience. I am pleased you enjoyed the hand-picked wineries and lunch overlooking the vines, and I truly appreciate your kind recommendation.
