Göreme Panorama is located exactly 2 km from the center of Göreme. You can enjoy the unique view on a bench or a chair. The view on the Göreme Uçhisar road is at the end point of the Güvercinlik Valley. Erciyes Mountain, which is the most magnificent mountain of the region with a height of 3917 meters, can be seen from here. It is one of the most beautiful photo spots of Cappadocia, revealing the panorama of Erciyes and the magnificent Pigeon Valley.
The black onyx is characteristic of the region of Cappadocia. The hardness determines the most prized variety for jewelry and craft work.
Kaymakli Underground City is the biggest and deepest underground settlement in the Cappadocia region. Located in the Kaymaki Village, Kaymakli Underground City is also one most popular places to see in Cappadocia.

Ihlara Valley is a fantastic canyon with a depth of about 100 meters and about 10 km. length that was formed by the volcanic activity from Mount Hasan and erosion by the Melendiz River hundred thousands of years ago. One of the best side trips from Cappadocia.
Pigeon Valley is situated in the heart of Cappadocia, a region famous for its unique landscapes, rock formations, and underground cities.

We booked last minute and wanted to specifically treck along the Ilharia river for 3km, which other people had done on the green tour. We paid 47 euros. Once on the coach the guide announced she was not trecking. We then spent ages at a jewellery shop and Turkish delight shop and a cheap canteen with loads of other tour coaches. All the sights were brief stops or drive by. If you book a green tour really check the itinerary before booking as we had a hot day trapped in a bus doing exactly what we didn't want to do. By Cappadocia would not issue a refund when we went into the office after the trip. Avoid them
Full Price is not well explained on the webside. On the headline you can read the tour inclouding the entrance to the underground City for a fixed price and on the second page if you want to enter you need to pay entrance fee
This is one of the best organised tours i have been to. The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. The spots which were picked were just breathtaking and serene. Everything went amazingly smooth. And of course, lunch which they served was scrumptious.

The tour was well organized. Our guide ufuk was very friendly and explained all the places in details. We visited all the locations as planned. Note : this tour includes a lot of walking and hiking, so for elderly people it might be slightly difficult.
Overall a great experience, great tour. The guide did his best and was very informative. Good pace. Going to the shops is not really needed, but I understand why they do.
