The experience was of greater value than the cost ! The operators of the ferry were very courteous. The market at Granville Island was interesting with plenty of tassty delights while sunset at the beach was beautiful and relaxing.

Not what I expected. I thought it would be more like the picture in the ad. Really not worth the money.
Hi Mark, we are sorry to hear that the experience was not what you expected. If you have a moment to message us directly at info@granvilleislandferries.bc.ca we would like to understand where we went wrong to we can correct any issues.
A great experience! A quirky way to travel to Granville Island. Speedy, good frequency and friendly staff.
We opted to do the 40 minute round harbour trip. Whilst we were not expecting a commentary or anything as it was the hop on hop off ticket, we had the most miserable boat driver. He clearly didn’t want to be there and constantly grimaced and rolled his eyes when anyone dare want to come on and was particularly grumpy when he sold us the ticket. He was having some kind of argument with another colleague called Christian who was driving another boat. At one point we banged into Christian’s boat on a jetty and this argument continued for a few stops. He then missed a stop where people wanted to get off (though don’t think it was miserable drivers fault as I don’t think the group getting on made it clear where they were going). Saw the sights we wanted to see and got some great photos, shame about the grumpy young driver who clearly didn’t want to be there. I get we all get bad days but don’t show it in front of paying customers…
This is very upsetting to hear. I am very sorry that your experience was not what it should have been. We will look into this and take any necessary corrective measures.
Great experience. My family enjoyed the hop on and hop off experience. We enjoyed every stop. Lots to see and do. The staff is very friendly and makes your experience very pleasant. Great way to experience Vancouver. We highly recommend this way to travel around Vancouver and sightseeing. The water taxi ride is very fun and timely and a great way to spend a day. We would do this again next time we visit. Thank you for such a great experience. Muchas Gracias!
If you just want to cruise the harbor and relax, this is a nice thing to do. The staff was nice and was always willing to direct in the right direction. Locations to catch the ferry was a little confusing.
Can be long lines at Granville Island and Sunset beach. Go early. You can also start at a different location where it’s not as popular.
It was sooooo much fun. We enjoyed having the day pass, that is the best way to ride the ferries. You can go to all the stops. We also returned at night to view the sunset and city lights. Well worth it.
Enjoyed the experience. We were able to go in both the ferries and it was fun. I had mother in law who had difficulty getting in and out of the boat, the boat operators were patient enough and greeted everyone with a smile.
Great way to go up and down False Creek, never waited more than 10 minutes or so for the next ferry!
