We suggest you visit Vesuvius immediately (whose entrance ticket costs 11.68 euros) and then the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum. If you still have energy you can discover Pompeii in the afternoon or the next day using a train that connects the two cities. The Grand Tour includes 3 entrance tickets, 2 audio guides and a round-trip bus from Vesuvius! Climb Mount Vesuvius from Herculaneum with our bus: admission is included! In 30 minutes, you'll reach the ticket office square, from which you'll continue on foot for another 30 minutes to the summit. Relax and enjoy the view of the crater and the vast panorama of the Gulf of Naples.
Discover the Herculaneum Archaeological Park: with our card, you can enter and enjoy the site thanks to a digital audio guide that you can download to your smartphone at our office at I Point Ercolano. A perfect visit to the site, destroyed by the eruption of 79 AD and once overlooking the sea. Here, among the streets of the ancient city, you can still breathe in the atmosphere and life of that era.
Discover Pompeii: admission is included with our special pass and a dedicated lane for holders. Activate the digital audio guide you downloaded with us at Herculaneum.

We left by bus from Herculaneum where at InfoPoin we met Luca, who gave us many directions to see other things about this magnificent land, besides Vesuvius and the excavations of Herculaneum. By bus we reached the starting point for the walk on Mount Vesuvius, accompanied by Umberto, a prepared and passionate guide who guided us along the route until we reached the top of the crater, where we took spectacular photos all along the way! Duration 2 hours... return to the base, a Neapolitan sandwich and then away, to the meeting with Gennaro who accompanied you to discover the excavations of Herculaneum, which involved you and intrigued you to discover this world, which has been brought to light and partly still submerged. I booked this tour with the expectation that it would include a bus transfer to Mount Vesuvius as well as tickets to Herculaneum. From all of the description It appeared that this was as a group tour for the day. This is not what was provided. Upon entering the ipoint, the staff were lovely and very helpful. They were extremely accommodating and would have been the best part of the trip. We were given our discover south ticket and were directed towards a 10 am bus. However, this bus was full and we were told that we would be put on the next bus. This bus was not a discover south tour. It was just a bus for Vesuvio express which had I have known I would have just booked this independently as it would’ve been much cheaper. The second bus we were directed to was also full so we were given a taxi transfer to the top of Mount Vesuvius. Our ‘tour’ started 30 minutes late so we did not have much time at the mountain. Our driver was lovely although drove erratically in true European style, and the staff were very accommodating. This appeared to be the end of our tour. There was no whole day tour as described and on return to Ercolano at ipoint unfortunately they were unable to get us tickets for Herculaneum. We were offered the equivalent in euros to go down and purchase them ourselves. Again, this is something I could have done independently and I had chosen a tour to have a full day experience. All staff involved were very lovely and did a great job, however this ‘ tour’ was just over inflated prices for tickets for Mount Vesuvius express and general entry tickets to Herculaneum. I would recommend avoiding this tour and just book yourself when you get there. Very disappointed and feel ripped off.
