Itinerary
Begin your evening with a scenic boat ride across Grand Cayman’s coastal waters toward Cayman Kai. Complimentary hotel pickup is available for guests staying in the Seven Mile Beach area, or you can meet the crew directly at one of the designated docks. Arrive at Starfish Point around sunset, where shallow, clear waters offer the chance to see the area’s famous starfish in their natural environment. Enjoy the changing colors of the evening before boarding the boat again as daylight fades and you continue toward Cayman’s Bioluminescent Bay.
Enter Cayman Kai’s Bioluminescent Bay and watch the water come alive with millions of tiny glowing organisms. Every movement and splash lights up the water around you, creating an incredible natural light show beneath the night sky. Learn about this fascinating natural phenomenon from your local crew and choose to experience it from the boat or take an optional swim in the glowing water. After your time in Bio Bay, board the boat for the scenic return journey. The complete boat experience lasts approximately 2 hours, dock to dock.

- Late Arrivals / No-Shows: Guests who arrive late or fail to show up for their scheduled activity are not eligible for a refund.
- Meeting Point & Pick-Up: Please provide your hotel information at the time of booking so we can arrange the correct pick-up location. Hotel pick-up is available only within the Seven Mile Beach area. If hotel information is not provided at the time of booking, the standard meeting point will be Capt. Marvin’s Private Dock.

Everything was fantastic! We arrived on time, checked in and as we got right on the boat, we were greeted by the captain and 2 other gentlemen. Starfish bay was great. They were very knowledgeable and fun. The sunset boat ride was fabulous and the experience in Bio Bay was a once in a life time adventure! Highly recommended.
A fun and exciting excursion. We enjoyed that we were staying a one of the hotels they pick.you up from. The whole crew were friendly and educational. We had an amazing night for seeing the glow.
There were clouds in the sky dimming the light on the ocean. It helped us to see the bioluminescence well. It really was a great experience. Charles and Kevin were both great at explaining everything and showing us what to do. Marcela took some great photos and videos.
Great! Michael, Marcella and Kevin were great hosts and guides. On time and informative. A bit of humor, but not to corny. Got us right into starfish beach and taught us a lot about starfish and upside down jellyfish. Kevin made sure we knew how to handle both safely - for us and the animals. Michael got us tucked up way into the bioluminescence in a quiet bay. Marcella took really good videos and pics. It was wonderful!
It is fun, easy and well organized! Well worth the time ! Boat in great condition, guides are experienced and the phenomenon is a bucket list item.
I didn't go. It was canceled when I should never had been able to book it. I was advised after purchasing the tour that it had been canceled because the solstice ended on November 26th. I booked this excursion after November 26th. Now trip advisor is telling me that I have to make changes with the 3rd party Viator. Not a good experience. Getting a refund has not been easy.

Regarding the refund, since your booking was made through Viator, they handle all payments, cancellations, and refunds, and once a booking is canceled, the refund is issued back to the original payment method within a few business days.
