Amazing Three Days

Great trip with a lot of ground covered in three days, yet never felt rushed. Scott Duncan (the real Scottish Scott) was a fabulous guide. He provided a great mix of historical facts and myths, with a great sense of humor.

Kiwi in the skye

Seumas made the most of our 3 day tour, making sure we got to see and experience the best of Isle of Skye and Highlands. I would recommend this tour if you have limited time, but want the best time.

A trip full of stories, sights and new friends! ❤️

MARK! No one could hold a candle to this guy! He was the kindest, most patient, knowledgeable, friendly and funniest guide EVER! Above and beyond. Made the trip tremendously enjoyable and memorable. Helped bring together a very eclectic group. We made a ton of friends and hope to stay in touch and meet up elsewhere in the world! The places we saw were stunning! History lessons and fun galore. I now, thankfully, have “everlasting youth and beauty” due to the River Sligachan tale 🤣 very bracing! Sad I didn’t hike Old Man of Storr… next time! Too many stories and places of note to list here! Do the tour and create your own memories! ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 see you in Canada, Mark and all!!

Outstanding tastes and experiences of the Highlands and Skye

This was an outstanding introduction to the tastes and experiences of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye over three full but well paced days. Mark our guide and driver was brilliant; informative, funny, thoughtful and kept us on time. His insights and favourite spots were special and by the end of the tour he had created a group of new friends. We had terrible weather on Skye and Mark worked with the group to create an alternative itinerary which was great. Don’t miss the whisky ice cream or the hairy coo! An outstanding experience.

Fantastic 3-day Isle of Skye tour — Juliane was outstanding!

We just finished a 3-day tour of the Isle of Skye, taking in Eilean Donan Castle, Portree, Loch Ness, and so many other beautiful spots along the way. Our guide Juliane made the whole trip. She was clearly very experienced and genuinely happy in her job — that enthusiasm was contagious. There's inevitably a fair amount of time in the minibus on a tour like this, but Juliane kept us thoroughly entertained the whole way with hundreds of local and historical stories, plus movie songs and local music. The driving was excellent, and the group she put together made for a really great atmosphere too. Big, big thanks — highly recommended for anyone considering this tour!

Touching Experience of Scottish Highlands and Isle of Skye

Bus with AC for 16 guests. Marc was a very secure driver and guide. He shared his love for his country by giving many informations and telling very intersting stories. This was my first bus tour, and I am still happy to have bookd this tour. Marc took us to lovely sceneries and places. We had enough time at the stops, and the time between the stops were perfect regarding the need of finding food and bathrooms..

Flavor of Scotland

Our friendly tour guide, Adam, picked me up right on time from the Glasgow stop and away we went. There were 14 others on the bus with me, a mix of other solo travelers and people traveling with family or friends. I liked the mix of people I traveled with and Adam made us all feel comfortable. The Scottish highlands are beautiful to drive through. I liked that Adam maintained a nice balance of sharing relevant tidbits and letting us enjoy the scenery. This tour packs in a LOT, and our guide had to adjust some of it based on the weather. I really loved the Fairy Glen on the Isle of Skye - that was probably my favorite spot (even more than the Fairy Pools). I also thought the area just south of Loch Ness looked like a nice place to visit - would have stayed there longer if possible. I also liked my accommodation at the bed and breakfast - which was arranged by the tour - I had a comfortable stay. I had traveled to multiple places before this excursion and only had tennis shoes. In my travel situation (multiple places with different weather), that was the best I could do, but really, I was not quite prepared for the weather to be so constantly drippy even though it did not rain hard. For U.S. people, I would compare it to the Pacific Northwest. I’d recommend future travelers bring hiking boots as well as trainers/tennis shoes and a pair of waterproof pants. At least I brought good socks and a rain jacket that dried quickly! My umbrella was useless as the wind kept flipping it inside out. I can’t stress enough how much our guide, Adam, made a difference in the trip. Easy going guy, but fun and engaging. I plan to recommend this trip to others - it really gave me a sense of Scotland and was the highlight for me. I also would love to return as it is impossible to really know the Highlands in 3 days/2 nights.

Michelle best tour guide ever!

Michelle was the most amazing tour guide I have ever had. She was so informative, friendly, and went the extra mile non-stop to make sure we had a one of a kind experience. Even when faced with car accidents and road closures, Michelle was amazing at navigating the situation and getting us to our destinations no matter what. We saw the most amazing views and had the most amazing time. I really do have to accredit this to Michelle and her guidance. I will be requesting Michelle the next time I use Timberbush and telling others to book with this company and request her as well!! Most amazing trip ever!

Awesome tour! Michelle is the best!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Michelle on our 3-day bus tour. She was the best tour guide I have ever had. When a major road was closed, she was quick and adaptable and made sure that we got to our location. You can really tell that she is passionate, experienced and knowledge about Scotland and her tour guide. She made us feel like one big family, I hope to cross paths with her again. She was lovely and the tour was awesome and informative. I wish I could give Michelle 6 stars!
