The current church was built in 1824, and was converted to a theatre in the 1980s. The peaceful graveyard to its side was the site of one of the strangest graverobbing cases in Scottish history, that of Mrs Janet McAllister and her missing bones
Another converted church, this time from 1523. Hear about what ghosts you might encounter while treading its boards, and why you shouldn't spend too long alone in the back two rows of the auditorium...
A unique part of Glasgow's architecture since the 1600s. Witches were held in cells in the clocktower, and dozens of people met their end by hanging in front of the beautiful tower.
The site of the former University of Glasgow annex where a doctor may have inspired the first science fiction story ever written, and where the dead sometimes don't stay that way...
A beautiful pre-Victorian hospital, where a famous name in medical history made a frightening discovery, and where some patients never checked out, even after they passed away...
Glasgow's oldest building holds some very strange secrets in its walls, and especially in its crypt. The beautiful but spooky graveyard in particular has some stories to unearth...
A jewel in Glasgow's crown. This nineteenth century cemetery was the setting for some spooky encounters, haunted statues, and even a real-life bloodsucker!
Apparently the most haunted hotel in Scotland. Discover why you should ask for a room below the top floor, just in case...
Though this pub is very open about having no ghosts, they certainly have spirits. Finish here for a wee pint to calm the nerves.

Our tour guide, Richard, was absolutely fantastic and kept the three of us, Bella, Marina and myself, motivated, intrigued, and entertained during a rainy night during this very interesting walking tour. Richard was articulate, funny and kept the entire group engaged. We can’t say enough great things!
Delightful tour! Our tour guide Isla was a ton of fun and very knowledgeable. Loved exploring this part of Glasgow's history with her as our guide and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn about the spookier side of some of the beautiful Glaswegian buildings and sites.
Richard was knowledgeable and highly entertaining. Loved the way he told his spooky tales. His sense of humour was sprinkled through the ghostly stories. Richard stayed behind to chat with us to! Great tour for adults! One of the best tour guides in Glasgow!
Richard was fun, knowledgeable, engaging, and mindful of all the participants. Great stories and views, easy walk, easy to find the meet up spot. A great experience!
Mark (guide) was friendly, knowledgeable, and just downright hilarious. There were some things out of his control that played to the stories he told during the tour as well. Great experience - thank you Mark
Decided to book this tour on my first night in Glasgow about an hour before it started. I am so glad I did because it was well worth the money! Isla (not sure how to spell her name) was knowledgeable and entertaining, and I would definitely do it again. Highly recommend!
Mark was a great tour guide. Very impressed by his depth of knowledge of the city, funny story teller, personable, and loved that he was a local, so great personal touch to the tour.
We really enjoyed the tour, Richard took us round some of the sights and through some of the stories. A good family friendly tour
Our guide Richard was exceptional. He made the tour both interesting and humorous. His delivery of all information had me engrossed for the full 2 hours. I would highly recommend this tour for both the history and gruesome tales….and the humour.
Ayla was very enthusiastic in her storytelling and paid close attention to individual wishes and wishes of the group.
