Glacier Combo Kayking at Glacier Lagoon and Glacier Hike

Join this totally unique experience around the world famous Glacier Lagoon. For this combo tour you will get best of both worlds. You can choose if you start with the kayaking at the Glacier Lagoon or the amazing hike up the Breidamerkurjokull Glacier. The Glacier Lagoon is famous for it's floating icebergs on the blue glacier water. In this tour you will have the chance to float around the icebergs with your expert guide who will show you all around the lagoon. After your tour on the Glacier Lagoon you will have a short break before hopping on a super jeep which will take you to the edge of the Breidamerkurjokull Glacier. After a short walk you will hike up the amazing glacier which surrounds the Glacier Lagoon. There you will learn about the features of the glacier and how the glacier has changed the last few years. Breidamerkurjokull is famous for it's crystal blue ice cave so if you are lucky you'll be able to see one of those amazing natural phenomenon.

One hour two person kayak with Daniel delivered get experience that included photos and up close iceberg views. Long wait between kayak and hike (2 hours), which allowed for lunch and walk to diamond beach. 30 minute van ride to glacier before hour plus hike with Thor. A blue cave was accessible, although small, but Thor took us to “the top” for great views and pics. He also provided extensive information about the glacier.
We didn't have much luck with the weather. The kayak excursion is beautiful; it is totally enjoyable. I have never done anything like it. The glacier hike is more educational and less "adventurous" than the ones I have done in other places in the world. I liked it a lot. The only drawback is that they indicate that both activities can be done on separate days, and when you do so, they raise the price. It is no longer a combo. Their website does not explain it well, and they do not take responsibility for the problem. Aside from that management issue, everything was fine; the guides were nice and trustworthy, as was the equipment provided.
We did both the kayak and glacier hike tours. The kayak tour of icebergs in the lagoon were a beautiful sight to be up close. It was relaxing! The glacier hike was amazing. Our guide Þóris was exceptional! His knowledge and love of the glacier and natural landscape around was great to learn. The hike was fairly easy and very different from the other glacier hikes. We loved it! They did give you 1.5 hrs in between both to eat(food and bathrooms avail) as well as a walk across the street to Diamond beach. Great day!
We HIGHLY recommend this combo! We were lucky enough to book the combo with wonderful Kayaking Guides, Beth and Orestis; along with an outstanding Glacier Guide, Aron (a native Icelander). The gear provided for both experiences was perfect. We were warm, dry, and comfortable (even though it rained on us for a portion of the kayaking tour). What an unforgettable and spectacular day--from being on the water with beautiful icebergs to breathtaking views at the top of the glacier. Just WOW!

Weather forced the cancellation of the Kayak portion of the tour. We rescheduled the glacier hike portion due to safety concerns for the next day. Hike was one of the highlights of our trip.
Me and my partner just did the kayaking. The weather was very rainy, bit no wind. Stefan our guide was very experienced and made us all feel safe. We saw over 12 harbour seals and the icebergs are amazing. Want to go again on a sunny day. Loved it
