This unique tour will bring you to the most famous scenic spots in the Netherlands, which are Giethoorn, Afsluitdijk and Zaanse Schans within one day. In our journey, you would visit a dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoes factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, the longest dike of the world; In the afternoon, you would discover green 'Little Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn. This tour offers free hotel pick-up service within Amsterdam; a luxury and comforable mini bus (Mecedes brand) with maximum 8 persons; and a free bottle of water (one bottle per traveler). This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with a lot of beautiful photos. One remark: Making new friends on the road won't be a bad idea of your travel. Please note: at the peak season, we might combine two groups together, we will contact you about this in advance.

Itinerary
You would expect to have following activities in our VIP tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a private dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a private wooden shoes factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.
This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.
At this attraction, you would expect to see a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by traditional clog makers, get to know the history of wooden shoes, and see different types of wooden shoes. You could have wooden shoes try-on here with different colors. Of course you can take as many photos as you want
Around noon, you would have a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, one of the most incrediable dike in the world. At this stop, you expect to know the story of building this great dike, sightseeing North sea and the biggest inner lake 'Ijselmeer' of Holland. 【Note: The monument stop is at the moment under renovation, observation tower is closed. You would have limited landscape. We have chosen an alternative stop, but keep in mind, the landscape is not as beautiful as before】
In the afternoon, you would explore the ‘Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. You will enjoy about 3-4 hours here to explore the sights by yourself and your loved ones. we include 1 hour traditional boat cruise here. But if you want, you could drive boat by yourself, that would have more fun with your family or friends. Self boat ride will have an upgraded price (around 10 euro/person depends on seasons)

Pickup Locations & Times
We offer hotel pick-up service for all locations in the Highway Ring A10, excluding north part of the IJ river (Het IJ). Travelers can take free ferry to central station from north Amsterdam. We don't pick up from the airport area. One day before the tour, we will contact you via WhatsApp or iMessage to confirm your pick up details. Make sure you leave a reachable WhatsApp or iMessage number in the booking. We pick up between 7:45 - 8:30. You are required to write down your pick up location in the booking 5 days in advance before your tour date. If there is no hotel information in your booking, you could only meet us at Amsterdam Central Station. Please be prepared and wait in front of your hotel 5 minutes in advance before our arrival.

This was a great way to see a number of beautiful and interesting sites while learning about the unique history and culture of Holland. Erik was fantastic! Reinier was a socialable, knowledgeable, and calm guide who ensured clear communication and directions for all. The cheese and shoe experiences are free of charge anyway, so you’re good paying more for the guide, transport, and boat ride in Gietthorn. The shoe and cheese experiences don’t try to sell you the product as much as explain their process so that was nice. A fair amount of free time.

Leides is incredibly knowledgeable, easy going, fun and funny and did an amazing job of making it the best day in Giethorm. I highly recommend Leides. And Giethorn.
We had a great experience with Leidse! He had a lot of knowledge of the areas and was quite funny. We went on the tour with 2 other couples (our friends) and we all had a great time! I especially loved floating down the canal in Giethoorn...so romantic. We definitely recommend this tour and our tour guide Leidse :)
