Itinerary
Perched high above downtown Nashville, the Tennessee State Capitol is one of the city’s most iconic, and most haunted, landmarks. As night falls, this historic site takes on a darker reputation. Guests will hear chilling stories tied to its past, including reports of lingering spirits, unexplained footsteps, and shadowy figures seen around the grounds. With a history shaped by powerful figures and dramatic events, many believe not everyone has left the Capitol behind. Standing here after dark, you’ll experience the Capitol in a way most visitors never do - through the eerie stories and hidden history that bring Nashville’s haunted past to life.
St. Mary’s of the Seven Sorrows Catholic Church is one of Nashville’s oldest buildings, and it carries a long history that hasn’t completely stayed in the past. At night, this quiet, historic church takes on a different feel. Guests will hear stories tied to the property’s past, along with reports of strange sounds and sightings that have been shared over the years. With generations of worship, loss, and major moments in Nashville’s history connected to this site, it’s no surprise it’s become part of the city’s haunted reputation. This stop gives you a chance to see a different side of a well-known landmark - one that most visitors never experience after dark.
Downtown Presbyterian Church stands out in Nashville for its unique architecture, but its history is just as memorable as its appearance. At night, this landmark takes on a quieter, more uneasy feel. Guests will hear stories connected to the church’s past, along with reports of unusual sounds and sightings that have been shared over the years. With so many generations passing through its doors, it’s become a place where history seems to linger a little longer than expected. This stop offers a different perspective on one of Nashville’s most recognizable buildings - one that most people never experience after dark.
Printers Alley is one of Nashville’s most historic and lively areas, known for its nightlife, but its past holds more than just music and entertainment. After dark, this narrow stretch takes on a different energy. Guests will hear stories from its early days filled with late nights, hidden activity, and the kind of history that doesn’t always make it into the guidebooks. Over the years, there have been reports of strange encounters and unexplained moments that add to the alley’s reputation. This stop gives you a look at a side of Nashville that’s both vibrant and a little unpredictable, where the past still seems close at hand.
The Hermitage Hotel is one of Nashville’s most historic and well-known buildings, known for its elegance, but also for the stories tied to its past. At night, the atmosphere here shifts. Guests will hear accounts of unexplained activity, including strange noises and sightings that have been reported by staff and visitors over the years. With over a century of history, including famous guests and significant moments, many believe some of that past still lingers within the hotel’s walls. This stop offers a look at a different side of a Nashville icon, one that goes beyond its reputation for luxury and into the stories that have kept people talking.

We had a great time on this tour and learned some interesting history tidbits along the way. I’m a wheelchair user and though there were a few spots where stairs (sometimes many!) were part of the tour, our guide always had an alternate route that worked for me.
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you had a great time and enjoyed learning some of Nashville’s history along the way. We especially appreciate you mentioning your guide’s efforts to provide alternate routes when stairs came up—it’s great to hear they helped make the tour work comfortably for you. Thank you for joining us, and we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the tour! We’re sorry the mosquitoes became an issue and that your little one was getting too many bites. Outdoor tours can sometimes come with those seasonal challenges, but we completely understand why you needed to leave early. We appreciate you spending part of your evening with us!

This was a great tour of Downtown Nashville and some hauntings mixed in with history. Our guide Mel was a lot of fun. Parking is a nightmare down there, especially if another event is going on. Get there early or take a rideshare.
