Itinerary
✨ Sidi Bou Said is the Tunisian Santorini ️— a cliffside village of blue-and-white streets and calm Mediterranean views. Walk through narrow lanes filled with cafés, art galleries, and bright blue doors against white walls. The sea breeze, colors, and light make every corner feel like a postcard. You explore freely while enjoying the relaxed artistic vibe of the village. Your Driver-Host shares fun local-life facts on the road, comparing Tunisian daily life with yours in a friendly way. Sidi Bou Said is simple, beautiful, and effortlessly photogenic. ✨
✨ In Tunis, you choose your style: the lively Medina or the Bardo Museum — two very different ways to feel the city. If you choose the Medina, step into a buzzing old city filled with narrow streets, colors, scents, voices, and everyday Tunisian life ️. Browse touristic products in the markets, enjoy the energy, and soak in the atmosphere as the old town moves around you. It feels vibrant. Local. Full of movement. You explore at your own rhythm , and if you ask, your Driver-Host may come with you to help with prices and keep things easier . The Medina of Tunis doesn’t feel staged — it feels alive, human, and full of real street energy. ✨
✨️ Carthage was once the greatest rival of the Roman Empire — and its ruins still overlook the Mediterranean today. We usually explore the most famous Carthaginian sites, with the route staying flexible around your pace . If there’s a specific site you’d love to add, just tell your Driver-Host on the day. Explore places like the Baths of Antoninus and the historic hill of Byrsa rising above the sea. It feels powerful. Historic. Timeless. As you travel, your Driver-Host shares simple stories that bring this ancient city back to life ⏳. Carthage doesn’t just show history — it lets you stand where it happened. ✨

We paid £193 for a very very poor experience. We were a group Of 7 people. (4 adults and 2 grown teenagers) We were hoping for a vehicle that would Comfortably accommodate all of us bit we were packed like sardines in a tin and cramed into a a small suv Our knees were touching our chin at times. We were traveling with my dad who has recently had a Triple heart bypass and kidney transplant. We wanted to celebrate his successful surgery and new lease of life so We booked a family holiday and this excursion.. We saw the reviews on trip advisor and thought the company must be credible. We stressed to the agent that having a air-conditionines vehicle was so, so Important given my dad's health conditions. The air conditioning was almost non existent is was such a poor quality vehicle. The money we spent did not reflect the experience we were hoping for. It's much more better to book local taxi's As soon as the excursion had ended, I contacted the tour operator and told them of the poor experience. I was really angry to find out that the tour operator gave my number to their contractor to try and resolve the issue. I did not appreciate that at all as I felt intimidated and I felt that this was a really unprofessional way to resolve a complaint. The tour guide did really give us much information and he was also a bit pushy about where we should eat our lunch Also they only offered a £60 refund which is still pending. Screen shots of the conversation also attached
We’re sorry the experience did not match your expectations. The private tour was completed in full, and the vehicle’s A/C was functioning during the service. After your complaint, we offered a £60 goodwill resolution despite the completed tour; this was declined in favor of a 50% refund request.
Excellent experience. Guide very attentive and looked after us across the day giving us a breadth of experiences (although would have liked more time exploring the medina). Pricing excellent given it includes transport all day so you don’t need to worry about that!
Excellent possibility to agree with the guide/driver on the day's stops based on your interests. The guide will accompany you to the various locations, leaving you free to visit the various places. Entrance tickets are not included, just as there is no guide provided to explain step-by-step what you are seeing (which might be useful for Carthage).
First we want to recommend Amir! I've written a long review,so I didn't want that to get lost! This trip was fabulous and just what we needed, because I have hurt my hip so didn't want to go on a coach tour where I was forced to go at other people's pace and spend my limited walking capacity on things i didn't want to see. Amir, our guide driver picked up promptly in the morning. He's not a tour guide but was able to answer general questions about Tunisia. He's a really lovely person and very interesting to chat to. His car is very comfortable and the air conditioning was highly appreciated! His driving was excellent! We were most interested in the history so we opted for the museum at Bardo. This has some amazing exhibits you are not going to see elsewhere, in particular the Punic finds. It's a gorgeous modern building but sadly no air conditioning! There is a cafe but we didn't manage to find it. There are a collection of craft shops there, some better than others! From there we went to Carthage. It's worth it for the view from the site alone. You can hire a guide there for 50 dinars. She was very knowledgeable but on reflection I would rather have explored on my own because it was so hot ( 44 degrees) that we had limited time there before we melted! We asked Amir to recommend somewhere to eat and get took us to a beautiful restaurant in Sidi Bou Said. It was cool, had delicious local dishes and spoke good English so I was able to make sure there were no nuts ( nut allergy!). Afterwards we could have looked around the Medina there but I'm not a big shopper and it was getting late so we headed back. The Medina did look to gave some interesting traditional bits for sale and I'd say it's better than the one in Monastir ( which has a lot of western tat!).
More like a personal taxi than guided tour Dropped at locations and found my own way and information Way too expensive compared to what was advertised
Very nice, available and above all precise, the only limitation was that he did not speak Italian as I had requested.
Excellent experience with Issam, punctual, knowledgeable, and reliable. The private tour is well organized. 5 stars
Rjab was a wonderful host/driver. He shared his insights about Tunisia and adjusted our stops to fit with what we wanted.
We spent an excellent day accompanied by our driver Mohamed Ali. We thank him for his kindness, his thoughtfulness, as well as his advice. We were able to visit at our own pace without pressure, and we would meet up with Mohamed Ali, always punctual, attentive to our needs, and with a smile. We recommend this VIP activity
Our driver Issam was right on time, very friendly and a responsable driver. We could chose how many time we would spend in each place. We really loved the medina of Tunis and Sidi Bou Said. The thermes in Carthago are also a nice place to take pictures. Our driver took us to a nice restaurant on our request, we ate some nice chicken tajine for a reasonable price.
