We had a really good time. The Guide was excellent. My only issue with most of these tours are the vans are not overly comfortable. Every seat is full. It is not always easy to hear The Guide and if you’re in the back row of the air-conditioning is not great.
Our guide Davide was excellent in his stories about the history of Coimbra and Aveiro, taking care to show and explain everything to us in French and Spanish. Very professional
Excellent experience! We did the tour of Coimbra, Aveiro, and Costa Nova with 5 friends with Tiago and we were really satisfied. The tour was well organized and allowed us to visit all the main places without rushing, enjoying the day in tranquility. Tiago was a helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable guide, always ready to answer our questions and give us advice. An experience that I absolutely recommend to those who want to discover Coimbra, Aveiro, and Costa Nova in a pleasant and stress-free way!
Unexpected experience, Aveiro and Coimbra truly delightful. Tiago was a friendly and always available guide, ready to respond to any need. Language barriers did not prevent communication.
Our guide Miguel did a great job, he picked us up on time and in a comfortable air conditioned van. We went to Coimbra 1st and enjoyed the University there & Miguel explained the history of the city and student life there, he left us free time to walk around and explore on our own all the pedestrian streets and without rushing us. After that, he offered us to go to Cosa Nova, which wasn’t planned in the tour so we could see the colorful houses and even go up to the beach to see it. Thanks much for that!! In Aveiro we enjoyed the river cruise and the he showed us some less touristic places. We enjoyed our time in this tour with Miguel as he did a wonderful job guiding us around. Recommended!
A tour with an "insider", Vasco, who had studied Law at the University of Coimbra and provided plenty of interesting details on this very strategic historial Portuguese University and the town. The cruise in Aveira was also a very interesting canal journey including many distinct buildings and sites. And Vasco took us to a great local resturant for a great local version of seafood paella! A great day tour..!!
This was a very fun and educational tour. David made it super entertaining, and cultural. Im glad we chose this tour instead of going solo.
A beautiful and very interesting excursion, with a professional and very kind guide. I recommend it to those who come to this beautiful land full of history and beauty; our guide Tabio deserves a ten.
We had a great trip from Porto to both Coimbra and Aveiro! We didn't know what to expect but it was delightful. I wish our guide had informed us about the shopping and "downtown" area in Aveiro. He dropped us at the restraurant that one of our fellow travellers booked for lunch, then showed us 2 more behind it. If we had gone 2 more blocks, we would have found a plethora of restraurants, shops, and views! Oh well, next time!
Our guide David was so good. We can highly recommend him to anyone.
