Full day. Well done. Taken to interesting sights and a great restaurant
If you want to get away from the beaches, for a day, and learn some Dominican history, this is the tour for you, but be warned there is lots of walking Excellent guide who spoke fluent Spanish and English but even accommodated the French (canadians) on board. Commentary started immediately following hotel pickup on the drive to santa domingo. He explained itinerary, timings and intentions but unfortunately for him, the traffic meant he had to react accordingly, which he did admirably. Visits included cathedral, 4d cinema to learn about Francis Drake invasion and takeover from the Spanish, indigenous Dominicans (Talons), war memorial, mahogany trees, unescu monument, Christopher Columbus House, tourist shopping mall, drive-by of presidential palace and much more. Highlight of the tour was a typical Dominican lunch with Domincan dancers...AMAZING All in all a very interesting and worthwhile tour, but be mindful traffic can be bad but the guide and driver ensured as minimal impact as they could
Good tour overall, there was a lot more than i thought there would be. But its a long day : 4 hours to get everyone in the bus and go to Santo Domingo, 3 hours back, for me.
This is totally a walking tour once you get to Santo Domingo. My family has mobility issues and cannot walk on uneven ground. The tour guide, Papa Joseph, was fantastic at helping us walk over cobblestones to the restaurant where we sat for the entire four hours. We did not get to see anything else. And it was so boring to just sit with nothing to do. I will say the buffet food was delicious.
Dear Visitor, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are truly sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations, especially considering the mobility challenges within your family. We would like to clarify that in the tour description on our website, we specify that guests with mobility issues should not participate, as this excursion involves extensive walking through historic areas with uneven surfaces. Our intention is always to ensure that every guest can fully enjoy the experience safely and comfortably. We’re glad to hear that Papa Joseph assisted you during the visit and that you enjoyed the buffet meal, but we understand how disappointing it must have been not to be able to experience the rest of the tour. Thank you again for your feedback it helps us continue improving the clarity of our communication and the quality of our services.
Good day out knowledgeable guide . However when trying to book further trips had no luck only hassle. Still don't know if buggy tour for today is going ahead or cancelled as requested.if still on when are we being picked up
What a fab day!!! Our guide was so friendly and funny. Learnt so much. Lots of photo opportunities and lunch was delicious. Couldn't fault the tour 😃
Tour guide was unbelievably knowledgeable and conducted the tour in three languages which was very impressive.
This was a great tour. The tour that we initially signed up for cancelled on us last minute because they did not have enough people. This tour had some spots open. Be prepared to walk a lot. Buffet lunch was included in the price. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He spoke three different languages because of the diversity on the tour. They picked me up from my place and had taken me back to my place.
Good tour and extremely knowledgeable guide. Lunch was provided and it was very good. The guide also provided English translation.
The tour to Santo Domingo was amazing the driver and tour guide were informative. Will definitely recommend.
