Itinerary
Visit the scenic road & viewpoint of "Coroa da Mata" This location offers panoramic views of the north coast.
The Limbo Waterfall is an oasis of serenity and accessibility. It is a modest waterfall in terms of height, but of remarkable picturesque beauty. The surroundings are dominated by the vibrant green of the vegetation and, seasonally, by the explosions of color from the blue and white hydrangeas that line the path. It's a place for easy contemplation and rest, accessible to all visitors.
This viewpoint is a scenic spot in the northeast, known for its coastal views and an impressive waterfall.
In the green heart of the Nordeste municipality, the Cascata do Risco waterfall is a well-kept secret that seems straight out of an Azorean fairy tale. This waterfall in São Miguel offers an experience of absolute serenity, where the sound of the water crashing against the rocks dominates the silence of the forest. If you're looking for a refuge away from the crowds, this is the ideal setting for total immersion in the island's purest nature.
Savor and enjoy typical dishes from the Azores at a local restaurant, with drinks, desserts, coffee, tea and local liquors included.
Continue to the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Waterfall, perhaps the most emblematic and photographed in the Azores. It is not one, but several waterfalls that are harmoniously distributed in a well-maintained park in Nordeste. The main waterfall is majestic, with water falling in a veil over a natural stone. The park is a perfect symbiosis between human intervention and nature, where old stone watermills from the 16th century have been restored and integrated into the landscape. The contrast between the rustic architecture, the stone bridges, the emerald green of the vegetation, and the purity of the flowing water creates a fairytale setting, easily accessible and enchanting with its scenic beauty and landscaping.
Views of the Atlantic and impressive cliffs. It houses the Arnel Lighthouse, the oldest in the Azores.
The viewpoint is known for its extensive, meticulously maintained gardens and dramatic views over the sea.
Panoramic views of the coast and nature, a tranquil spot to appreciate the island's natural landscape.

There is lots of walking. It’s not strenuous, but be prepared to walk a bit. If you have trail shoes, would be best, but can do it without.
Wonderful day of discovery of the Northeast of San Miguele with an exceptional guide who shared his passion for his island with us
Great tour. Informative guide. We’d do it again
Despite the rain, our tour guide Miguel did such a wonderful job of showing us around! We loved all the beautiful waterfalls! When clouds blocked views of the coast of Nordeste, we went to a liquor factory and chocolate factory instead where we were able to enjoy a lot of the local delicious alcohol and treats. We agreed that going on the tour was a terrific way to spend an unpredictable rainy day! All thanks to Miguel! Thank you!
I was able to see the whole island thanks to the recommendation of Green Visions Tours with a magnificent, and very professional guide. Do not hesitate to contact this agency if you come. They will not disappoint in SAN Miguel, quite the opposite. Thank you for this very pleasant trip in the Azores
Excellent tour of the northern part of Sao Miguel. Hugo was local and very knowledge about the history and local culture
We loved our tour with José! He was so knowledgeable about the island including the flora and fauna, agriculture, political history and jam-packed so many facts into our tour. Our whole group thought he was very personable and genuine. He took us to beautiful places that we would never have found otherwise.
Wonderful! Our tour guide, Hugo, was very knowledgeable and professional. We saw some amazing sites and overall had a fantastic time.
