Full Day Luxury Private Tour in Swiss ALPS

We have just returned to Australia from a month-long trip through Europe and did a day tour with Fernando when we arrived in Zurich. To say this day was one of the highlights of our entire trip would be an understatement. From the moment we met Fernando, it was clear that he was committed to ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we had hoped for and much more. Firstly the transportation was truly five-star. We have never travelled in such a luxurious vehicle. The van featured individual leather bucket seats and every comfort imaginable, including phone chargers, adjustable headrests, footrests, tables, drink holders and more. The large panoramic windows provided incredible, unobstructed views throughout the journey, making sightseeing an absolute pleasure. Equally impressive was Fernando himself. His knowledge of the area was exceptional and his genuine enthusiasm was infectious. We loved that he was just as excited about what we were seeing as we were. Rather than following a rigid schedule he tailored the day to our interests, happily allowing us to decide what we wanted to see and how long we wanted to spend at each stop, including lunch. What stood out most was Fernando’s desire to ensure we experienced as much as possible and made the most of our time. By the end of the day it felt less like we were saying goodbye to a tour guide and more like we were saying goodbye to a good friend. We cannot recommend Fernando highly enough. If you are looking for a private tour or transport service in Switzerland (or other European locations he has extended to) you will not find a better experience. He played a significant part in making our trip so memorable and we are incredibly grateful for the wonderful day we spent with him.

Fernando picked us up at our hotel in Luzern and took us on an excellent tour of the Jungfrau region. We stopped at many smaller villages and other scenic places. We must have taken 200 pictures on this trip. What we really liked about Fernando was he did not rush us from place to place. He would stop at many scenic places and then let us take pictures and enjoy the scenery. Also, many of the local people knew him and greeted him on our trip. That assured us he knew the local people very well and they we generally excited to see him and his tour guests. If you want a private tour with none of the hassles of going on a large tour bus, I would highly recommend going with Fernando's company.

He knows Switzerland incredibly well and took us to beautiful, hidden places that most tourists would never know to visit on their own. His local knowledge really made our trip feel special and allowed us to experience a side of Switzerland we otherwise would have missed. He was professional, thoughtful, and made everything incredibly easy and comfortable. His cars are also luxurious, spotless, and very well maintained, which made traveling between destinations even more enjoyable. By the end of the day, we felt less as though we had hired a private guide and more as though a wonderful friend had shown us one of the most beautiful places in Switzerland. Beyond amazing and worth every penny. Breathtaking stops not seen elsewhere, fabulous guide, impeccable luxury vehicle, and a few very thoughtful surprises along the way. No detail was left un-thought of. I will book them again.

We are lucky enough to be able to book an one day tour of the Berner Oberland with Fernando only a few days in advance. We started from our hotel, the Giessbach Grand Hotel, and had a fabulous tailor made journey, in a highly comfortable Mercedes minivan. Went first to the Aareschlucht, a dramatic limestone gorge carved by the Aare River. The gorge is about one and half km long, with walkways and tunnels through very narrow rock walls, sometimes only a few meters apart. It was rainy and cold but nevertheless quite a spectacular must seen place. Then we went to Iseltwald, a small lakeside village on the shore of Lake Brienz. A peaceful and quiet Swiss village which became nowadays internationally famous from the Korean drama Crash Landing on You, especially the pier on the lake (but do not expect to see the piano on the pier). After that we made a stop at Interlaken, for buying some Swiss chocolate in a small chocolate shop recommended by Fernando, and having a great lunch at the Victoria Jungfrau Hotel. The afternoon was also fantastic, with an 1 hour walk in a Swiss postcard landscape of Lauterbrunnen valley, nested between sheer vertical limestone cliffs, with dozens of waterfalls on both sides. The journey ended with a visit to the alpine village Mürren, perched on a terrace above the Lauterbrunnen Valley, from where we had a spectacular view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks. In brief, I highly recommend arranging your private tour with Fernando, so as not to miss any of those so beautiful places.

We recently went back to Switzerland with our friends for another full day tour with Fernando, and it did not disappoint. We had the best time enjoying the perfect mix of sunshine and snow. Fernando truly went above and beyond. He even helped us track down our missing luggage, which meant so much. He is not only fun to be around, but incredibly resourceful and genuinely compassionate. On top of that, he put together a last minute birthday celebration for my daughter’s 21st, finding the perfect cake at a beautiful restaurant in the Swiss Alps. It was such a special and unforgettable moment. Fernando is an amazing travel guide who tours all over Europe, and we highly recommend him.
