The original palace was build by king Prasat Thong of Ayutthaya in first half of 17th Century.
Stop at 10:00 am Wat Phu Khao Thong- the Monastery of the Golden Mount built by King Ramesuan
Stop at 11:00 am , One of the most amazing Buddha’s head in the root of the Bodhi tree, also it was the royal monastery and served as the residence of the supreme monk in the early Ayutthaya period.
Stop at 11:30 it is believed to be built in the middle phase of Ayutthaya Era. It is also believed that there had been a pantheon built to shelter the Buddha image but the pantheon was destroyed. The Buddha image has been renovated many times, especially in A.D. 1954 and A.D. 1989, until the Buddha image looks completely beautiful.
Stop at 12 pm Have lunch at the local restaurant is Thai food will be served.
Stop at 13:30 Located next to WAT PHRA SRI SANPHET. There is a large bronze Buddha image which was originally enshrined in the open area outside the royal monastery and later covered by this chapel.
Stop at 14:00 The largest and the most important temple with in the Royal palace compound in Ayutthaya, and also it is the prototype of the Grand palace and temple of the emerald Buddha in Bangkok. Departure for Bangkok 14.30 PM.Return to Bangkok***16.30pm,arrival depending on the traffic.
