In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up from Tirana and begin the journey towards Mount Sari Salltik.
Enjoy the guide’s insights and a scenic ride along a panoramic mountain road to visit this holy site, which holds great significance in the Bektashi faith. Perched at 1,176 meters above sea level, the cave shrine offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The guide will provide explanations both on the bus and at the site.
After visiting Sari Salltik, continue to the historic city of Kruja, where the guided walking tour begins at the Old Bazaar—one of the oldest and largest in Albania, filled with traditional souvenirs and handicrafts. The guide will provide explanations during the walk, while free time for shopping will be available later.
Next, proceed inside the Kruja Castle, strolling through its ancient walls and learning about its history. From the outside, the guide will introduce you to the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to Albania’s national hero, as well as the Ethnographic Museum, the Turkish Bath, the Skanderbeg Olive, and the castle’s secret entrance
Free Time / Lunch: After soaking in the culture and history, enjoy your free time to explore the Old Bazaar, take photos, visit the museums, or have lunch at your own pace. In the afternoon, return to Tirana. IMPORTANT: During off season November - April the museums (Not the castle) may be closed on Monday. Note: During the visit to the Sari Salltik cave, it is possible (though uncommon) to witness local religious rituals involving animal sacrifice. If this is a concern, please inform your tour guide in advance.

The guide, Endri, was extremely open and friendly and glad to answer any questions. We played a world-capitals game on the bus on the way back. The bazaar was really impressive, and while the inside of the castle wasn't included, the grounds were very impressive. The views from the mountain top were fantastic.
A wonderful and very interesting excursion. Altin, our guide was very entertaining and really enhanced the whole experience providing lots of historical and other very useful information. Kruja Castle and town are beautiful. A great trip!

Great experience, wonderful trip. Lovely guid, Bledi was very knowledgeable and friendly. The only downside weather wasn't too good, so we couldn't enjoy the wonderful views, but that can't be helped.
