Excellent Path of the Gods tour! My favorite thing I did in the Amalfi Coast. If you want a break from the crowded tourist areas this is the way to do it. Nino was an amazing guide- he gave a lot of history and information about the area and the views could not be beat. There was a stop at Antonio the Shepherd’s house for a break and light meal. Everything was delicious and Antonio was great. I highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous hike. Beautiful views, very fun lunch wth freshly grown local food? Wine and music. Guided were excellent and very helpful! A perfect day.
It was amazing, the local food and the views were beautiful and the locals themselves were so welcoming.
Everything was great! Simple pick up. Amazing views. Great guide and mid-day snack / lunch at the farmers hut. Some short entertainment. For those considering to do this, the hiking isn’t that difficult if you’re in good shape. If you have knee or ankle issues though, it can be strenuous. I will say my group had some older folks in their 50s and 60s and they apparently managed (I’m mid 30s for reference) even in the heat of August! I’d definitely recommend hiking shoes. The gravel / soil can be slippery, stairs uneven, pavement rocky. Could be done in sneakers though. Bring about 2 liters of water. Anyway, had a great time and don’t regret this at all! I even wish it was longer
I can honestly say that doing the Path of the Gods with Dario was one of the absolute highlights of my entire time in Italy and by far the best tour I’ve experienced here. From the very beginning, Dario didn’t make us feel like tourists or customers. He made us feel like family. There was such a genuine warmth to the entire experience, and it felt less like booking a tour and more like spending the day with a close friend who was excited to share his home, his culture, and his life with us. The hike itself was unforgettable. As we followed the narrow trail along the mountainside, the deep blue Sea stretched below us, while the cliffs, terraced gardens, and distant villages seemed to unfold around every bend. The scent of wild herbs warmed by the sun filled the air, and at several viewpoints we stopped simply to take in the silence, the sea, and the dramatic coastline. Dario never hurried us past those moments. He noticed when we wanted to pause for photographs, pointed out details we would have missed, and made sure we had time to absorb the landscape rather than just pass through it. Dario created the perfect pace for the hike. He adjusted the walk naturally to everyone’s comfort level, offering encouragement on the steeper sections without ever making us feel pressured. When the trail became rocky or uneven, he calmly showed us where to place our feet and stayed close by. He also seemed to know exactly when we needed a break, finding beautiful shaded spots where we could catch our breath, drink water, and enjoy the view. His patience and attentiveness made the hike feel both adventurous and completely comfortable. The way Dario explains things is just as special as what he knows. At different points along the trail, he shared stories about the villages clinging to the cliffs, the farmers who shaped the terraces, local traditions, and the history of the Amalfi Coast. He connected what we were seeing to the lives of the people who have called these mountains home for generations. His explanations were detailed without ever feeling like a lecture, and he welcomed every question with enthusiasm. When we asked about a plant, mythology of the land or historical trivia, he always had an answer and often an additional story that made the place feel even more alive. He would know things only locals know and brings you close to the deep culture of the land. You can tell that he doesn’t simply see this as a job. While some people may look at guiding as work, Dario looks at it as his life. This place, its people, and its stories are clearly a part of who he is, and that passion shines through in every word he shares. His warmth appeared in all the small moments: checking that everyone was comfortable, offering to take our group photos, laughing with us when we stopped to admire an especially beautiful view, and sharing local recommendations as thoughtfully as if he were welcoming friends to his own home. The Path of the Gods itself is breathtaking, but having Dario as our guide made it something much more meaningful than just a beautiful hike. He helped us slow down and notice the details, the texture of the stone beneath our feet, the scent of the vegetation, the changing light on the water, and the tiny villages far below. He gave the landscape context and helped us understand its soul. By the end of the day, it felt like we hadn’t just visited the Amalfi Coast we had truly connected with it. After spending so much time traveling through Italy and taking different tours, I can say without hesitation that this was the best one. If you are considering doing the Path of the Gods, do it with Dario. You’ll leave with incredible memories, a deeper appreciation for this extraordinary part of Italy, and the feeling that you spent the day with someone who genuinely cared about making you feel good and giving you an unforgettable experience. Grazie mille, Dario. Thank you for your kindness, your unbelievably witty knowledge, and for making us feel like family. It was an unforgettable day and an experience I’ll always carry with me.
Complete lack of customer service
If you don't show up for your appointment, that's a "no-show," and if you then ask for a refund the next day, it stands to reason that we can't give it to you. Your bad review is completely unjustified because it was all your fault. In fact, I'm going to give you a bad review as a customer. Never again.
We had Antonio as our guide. We had a wonderful experience. This hike does require some level of fitness. It was probably one of the best hikes we have ever had. They were helpful in keeping us safe, allowing time for photos. The goat herder and mideaval restaurant, The Shepherd's Table, experience were truly enchanting. Highly recommend!!
We loved hiking Path of the Gods with Nino. He was very informative and the views were amazing. What a great hike. We also did the Sorrento walking tour with Nino’s son. We enjoyed that very much as well - a great way to get oriented and learn about the area. 😀
Beautiful hike, and Although it was very hot out, the guide took many breaks. He was very informative. A one point there was 2 options, to take the less hilly route or the hillier one. We had in our group some do each. Either way, we all ended up at this lovely hut with lunch. This was totally unexpected. We had wine, water, and a full lunch on this mountain that Antonio ( whom owns the hut) has to carry up each day for those on the hike. It was delicious. Beautiful views !!
We absolutely loved this hike. Incredibly well organised from start to finish. There is a stop before the start where souvenirs are available, buy then if you want as there are no others. Two options were available, a flatter shorter route or a higher route with amazing scenery. Guides were very informative and kept everyone safe and together, with stops in shaded spots. Walking poles were provided and a good help. We wore trainers which were suitable. Plenty of water is essential. The stop at the Shepherds hut was great fun with lovely food. Thank you Nino and Antonino, it is evident that your heart and souls are in this.
