From Salta: Serranías del Hornocal and the hill of 14 colors

The view of Ornocal was amazing, the colorful mountains in 14 colors and the cool breeze blowing through them were a very pleasant time. But it never stopped at Uquia and Humahuaca. Also, in Tilcara, the distance from Pu is so far that it is impossible to see it during the stop. Besides, the tour was written as 11-12 hours, but actually took about 14 hours. The tour itself was satisfying, but there were a lot of differences from the information beforehand, so we chose three stars.

I consider it inappropriate for the guide to ask for a tip for their service

The drivers of both the van and the "4x4" were reckless at times! Another thing that I didn't like, personally, is that the same person who drives is the guide. Those would be 2 things that you could check, in my opinion. The landscapes, the place is veryyyy pretty!

If you only go on one tour out of Salta, this is the one I would recommend. It’s well-organized, packed full of beautiful stops, and Santiago is an amazing guide who’s passionate about what he does (his driver, Juan, is also super cool!). My favorite tour of the trip! Also, for English speakers, Santiago’s English is very good, so you won’t have to worry about missing out on anything.

A comprehensive tour of several lovely towns throughout the Quebrada de Humahuaca with our informative bilingual tour guide, Jesi. We enjoyed seeing the artisanal crafts and the small museums in Purmamarca and Tilcara. The trip to Hornocal is something we will never forget - nature’s bargello! - and we managed to catch a small herd of vicuñas on the way down. Amazing.

Beautiful region, it is worth renting a car and spending 6/7 knowing the whole region

We had an amazing day. Our guide Fabio was amazing. He made the entire trip so entertaining and it felt more like a trip with family and friends than with a travel agent. He shared meaningful information. Would definitely recommend this trip. Obviously, the hills and everything else was breathtaking.
