Cadaqués is very pretty! An absolute must-visit place! We had dinner at the Plaza pizzeria restaurant, my "Plaza" pizza was not cooked enough, the ham was too salty, the rest of my family enjoyed the meal.

Description
We set sail aboard our stunning NEW 2019 BOAT, cruising along the breathtaking coastline of the Cap de Creus Nature Park, bound for the enchanting town of Cadaqués. Once we arrive, we take a leisurely 1.5 to 2-hour stop, giving you the perfect opportunity to wander and soak in the charm of this incredibly picturesque fishing village. Among all the idyllic towns and villages that dot the Costa Brava, Cadaqués shines with a rare blend of uniqueness and authenticity. Nestled on the eastern edge of the Cap de Creus Peninsula, it's often called the ‘pearl’ of the Costa Brava. With a history that stretches back thousands of years, dating back to the time of the Iberians, Cadaqués’ name is believed to have evolved from ‘Cap de Quers’ (cape of rocks), a nod to the rugged, rocky landscape that surrounds it. Famed for its artistic allure, Cadaqués has long been a muse for painters and creatives—most famously, Salvador Dalí, who found

This village seem to have stopped on the time, keeping the mediterranean esthetic of traditional white houses with some colourfull splashing provided by the characteristic Catalan Art Noveau buildings as the Blue House or Serinyana’s House, the Colom Castle, The Pont House or The Rahola’s House. Don’t miss the beautifull church of Santa Maria de Cadaqués, that was builded between the XVI and the XVII centuries and has a baroque altarpiece of 76 feet hight.

The boat and boat trip was fine. We only found the time in Rosas very short. And for this price it would have been nice to add a drink and/or sandwich. I really didn't think it was worth this price!
A unique and wonderful experience, a beautiful journey, with a magnificent and wonderful crew, attentive, pleasant, friendly and without a doubt very professional, especially one of the crew members who was especially attentive and mindful of all the passengers with excellent treatment and made it very enjoyable and fun. Without a doubt we will repeat, I recommend living this experience on this boat
Cadaques is magnificent, it's a must-see. The crossing is not cheap, it's just a shuttle. The staff is not really pleasant; the "hola" must be optional... unlike the "adios" with the little bell for the tip ...
The entire crew and ticket office staff were very nice, especially Camelia (ticket office) and the captain of the boat. The excursion is a bit rushed but serves to see Cadaqués and take some nice photos.
Originally we booked with Tripadvisor for a day in a scheduled tour that was a 'free day.' When the tour operator changed the date, Tripadvisor was totally ready to help make the date change with Eis Blaus de Roses, the boat tour operator. A big plus! We may have been able to save a little by buying the tickets right from Eis Blaus de Roses athlete Santa Margarita location, but not knowing how many seats would be available for eight persons could present a problem with how many were on the boat. We really enjoyed to ride, the weather was warm and the seas flat ~ most enjoyable! Being early in the queue we were able to find seats on the upstairs level in the front which we hoped would provide the best views (the left side is best on the outbound direction). Unfortunately, there were four adult women that stood for the whole time along the rail right in front of us taking 'selfies' the whole time pretty much blocking what we were hoping to see and enjoy. It's a shame that people are allowed to remain there throughout the ride and preventing others from enjoying the space for photo taking. The ride was about 45 minutes each way and about an hour and a half in Cadaques which wasn't really long enough to walk around the small village to enjoy its ambiance. The 'audio guide' was a narration over the ship's loudspeakers throughout the ride in more than one language. It was a little difficult to hear but what we could hear was interesting and provided an understanding of the history of the area. If you have a chance and the weather is good, by all means take the tour ~ but take it with this particular operation (their boats are newer!)
The staff was wonderful! Trip was exactly as described. It was just the right amount of time. We really enjoyed getting an up close view of the of a cave! Really cool!
Welcome more neat and kind when booking at the chalet than during the crossing. Obligation to scan QRcode to get visit info! Seniors didn't have cell phones! Tourist information recorded as before was more convenient for tourists! The €25 service therefore only includes transport as merchandise.....damage of the recorded tourist information does not cost more! In all and everything you will only stay an hour in Cadaqués and not 1h30.
Welcome more careful when booking at the chalet than during the crossing. Obligation to scan QRcode to get visit info.
Cher client, Merci d'avoir partagé votre commentaire. Nous sommes désolés que vous n'ayez pas pu accéder aux audioguides durant votre traversée. Small port town with charm killed by mass tourism where all the commercial mufleries have become the raison d'être of all those who trade their housing, their cafes, their restaurants, their shops etc .. in an atmosphere of scams and systemic sufficiency.
