A superb excursion to Evora with Sofia, an excellent guide! She shared a lot of information with us about the history of Portugal and local customs. The village of Evora is magnificent with the Roman temple, the cathedral, the bone chapel, and its pretty streets where you can find marble of different colors. The wine tasting was nice with a tour of the facilities. Finally, we made a stop at the Castelo de Montemor-o-Novo offering an incredible view! Thank you Sofia!
We had an absolutely magical day! Initially, we were supposed to do the tour in a group of 7 people, but we ended up being just the two of us with our guide. It was a truly personalized and privileged tour. Our guide Sofia was very kind, patient, and spoke French. Sofia shared a huge amount of knowledge with us and gave many fascinating explanations throughout the day, the history of Évora, notably at the Chapel of Bones and during the Alentejo wine tasting. A huge thank you to her for her professionalism and good humor. We recommend this tour 100%!
