Fantastic experience. Our guide Nelli was friendly and informative. The time at the camp was really special. We enjoyed foraging for berries and eating the traditional Finnish BBQ foods. Searching for the moose was fun, even though we only got to see one in the far distance. A magical experience.
This tour was an amazing way to get to know both the country side of Finland and a lot of it's traditional dishes. Our guide Jack could not have been more resourceful, nice and charismatic as well as an amazing cook. One thing I would recommend just because of the immersion and fun it offers is to bring along a couple more "telescopes". The observed wildlife was breathtaking and made this trip feel totally a must-do for the most vivid visitors of Helsinki.
Eye opening experience, superb guide and the wild life cooperated. We saw four moose and coungless deer plus a hare.Satisfactory in any possible way. Go- do it.

Superb experience, Toni our guide was extremely friendly! The campfire dinner was great. The Safari too, we were lucky enough to come across several Moose! Small group activity, perfect for chatting and meeting people. Group of 8, so very warm and far from impersonal activities.
We liked the safari because its small-scale approach with a small group of people. Our tip is to pay attention to that the groupmembers introduce themselves, that would add to the personal approach. On our way to the bbq we already saw 3 moose and 2 cranes. It would have been nice when the guide had taken short time to stop so we could have watched them. The bbq-spot was on a wonderful quiet place along the coast in the forest. The bbq itself was more a bite to eat instead of a meal, it was nice that it was taken into account that we were with vegetarians. Our tip for the bbq is to add fresh salad to make it more of a real dinner. We looked for moose from 9 pm till it got too dark. Our guide took efforts to find moose, in that way it was a real safari. We observed a male moose, which was great. Our guide had professional binoculars, so we all could observe the moose very close. And we saw a few more moose, though from a big distance. We also observed some beautiful deer. To conclude: we had a great evening and were enthusiastic about the one moose we observed. Of course we would have loved it to encounter more animals, but we understand it is nature and therefore unpredictable. The quality of the food and the variety of the bbq can easily be bettered. Our guide was friendly and eager to spot moose, which we welcomed. We find the value for money average, despite we are aware Finnish prices are higher compared to our home country.
We enjoyed our tour with our guide Toni. The location we had our BBQ was very beautiful! The food was good. It took a while to find a moose. During our search we saw many dear and birds. And after some time we saw several moose! (So no worries if it takes a while.) Kind of pricey, but that's finland. Overal good experience! If your in finland for a short time and want to see some moose, this tour is perfect.

Did the tour in July with Toni and Nellie. Pick up point was easy to find. I was in the bus with Toni, he really did his best to find moose for us and cooked a delicious local dinner! Licorice was also great!! The two guides do the same route but we ate at different spots, they keep in touch all the way through to make sure that people see the most moose possible. It was a fun night, also comfortable mini bus. Thanks again!!
Campfire food was only ok. Finding moose is a challenge. Some were located really late in the evening and at a significant distance they were hard to spot. Just have reasonable expectations about seeing them.
