Once your driver picks you up we will start our Fes to Chefchaouen day trip to the exotic blue town of chefchaouen. We have about 4 hours to get to our destination so for that reason we recommend an early departure from Fez unless you suggest otherwise, then we plan our tour depending on your availability.
Chefchaouen is situated in the Rif Mountains and represents a popular tourist destination because of its proximity to Tangier and the Spanish commune. It is one of the prettiest towns in Morocco, considered to be an artsy, blue-washed mountain village that feels like a part of another world. It is considered as a popular destination as well as it offers many native handicrafts that are not available elsewhere in Morocco. Your driver will drop you to the old medina which is a delight of the Moroccan and Andalucian influence with red-tiled roofs, bright-blue buildings and narrow lanes converging on busy Plaza, Uta hammam and its restored Kasbah and also a ruined mosque built by the Spanish, with stairs still in the tower.

We waited 1 hour for the tour , nobody showed and did not reply on the phone! Ore email Absolutely to avoid
The listing was inaccurate and misleading. When we booked, we selected a later time, but we were later told via text that only one time slot was available. The drivers didn’t say a word to the passengers, and the vehicles were quite decrepit, which was concerning. We arrived and returned safely, which is what matters most, but next time I’d choose a different experience.

Great day from start to finish. Picked up from our riad and taken to a local place for a coffee then on the road. Stopped at some lovely spots for pictures and a good break, long drive so bring entertainment (books, tv shows etc). Our driver was awesome, had the patience of a saint managing some heavy smokers in the group 😂, stopped at some great spots and asked us when we would want to head back, so we had as long as we wanted in the town. Roam free on your own time with no schedule, it was perfect. Highly recommended. Grab a painting also, the artists display work around the town in shops and they wrap up just the canvas off the frame also. Haggle well. Spend about 100 for small and 350 for a large max. 👍
