Excellent Day Trip to Kanchanaburi

I was impressed with this tour from the very beginning. The driver arrived on time for the pickup, and the van was clean and comfortable, making the journey to Kanchanaburi very enjoyable. The itinerary was well organized, and all the attractions were worth visiting. The Death Railway, the Bridge over the River Kwai, and Erawan Waterfall were all beautiful and fascinating. The guide was friendly and informative, and everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and great value for money. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Thailand.

Incredible history and views!

A fantastic, well-organized day trip from Bangkok! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, making the visits to the Allied War Cemetery and JEATH Museum deeply moving. The absolute highlight was the train ride along the Death Railway—the views crossing the wooden cliffside bridge were unforgettable. Lunch was delicious, and the afternoon stop at Saiyok Noi Waterfall was a perfect way to relax in nature. It’s a long day of traveling, but completely worth it for history buffs!

More of a waterfalls trip than history trip

Overall an enjoyable trip but the itinerary was not as described as we went to erawan waterfalls and not sai yok noi waterfalls as we were meant to. Guide told me that there was no water at Sai yok noi waterfalls. Guide did not give any history of the river kwai bridge just pointed out what was on a board for everyone to read.

Operator response

I love history but that...

I love history but that part was very short. We went to the waterfalls which was nice but we spent over 7 hours riding in a van. This was a 15 hour day.

Operator response

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. However, the time spent at each location was stated in the itinerary. As Kanchanaburi is a large province, traveling between sites naturally takes some time.

Exceptional experience

The tour was amazing and the highlight for us was the stop at the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. The Bridge over the River Kwai was a runner up. I was disappointed that even though we were collected at our hotel, we were dropped about an hour walk from our hotel. But overall the guide was fantastic and the driver equally so.

Regarding the drop-off, as mentioned on the product page, this tour includes hotel pickup in the morning, but all guests are dropped off at Khaosan Road or MRT Sam Yot. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
