From Angra: Terceira Island Full-Day Jeep Tour (Shared Tour)

Itinerary
We start by heading inside the Caldeira of Guilherme Moniz, the second biggest volcano of our island, so we can access the inner roads of Agualva. The descend to Baias da Agualva is optional.
After leaving Agualva, we contine on inner roads, now opting for the preferences of the clients: would you rather visit a cave or do a short hiking trail? Afterwards, we look on to Biscoitos, from the mountains above, continuing our road to Serreta!
Now moving on to Serreta, we have yet another choice: do you want to embark on more dirt roads and possibly another short hiking trail or do you rather ride of the border of a cliff on the north/west coast? Eventually, we will stop for lunch, if you choose to include that option. Usually we opt for a traditional lunch. After lunch, we head to the interior of the island, passing by the viewpoint of Serra de Santa Bárbara, located on one of the streets that crosses the inside of the island.
Continuing with our tour, we then head to Christmas Cave, where we visit the lava tubes and continue to visit Algar do Carvão, an empty volcano. Along the way, if it's of interest, we can stop at the entrance of a small black forest as well as the furnas de enxofre.

We pick up from all hotels in Angra do Heroísmo. Tours that starts in the Airport, Cruise Ships and Hotels in Praia da Vitória have an additional tax.

Fantastic tour, excellent to have a general idea of the whole island. The Guide Patrícia demonstrated a lot of professionalism and historical knowledge of the island, also had extreme attention in ensuring a complete lunch and really typical of Terceira. The visit to the Algar do Carvão and land paths through the forest were memorable. I recommend.

We had a fantastic day with Paolo. He was knowledgeable, patient and thoughtful all day. We toured many sights all over the island, we enjoyed his stories and had a cultural experience. in august of 2019 me and my wife wanted to go to one of the bull runs,so we contacted spottours.they responded same day with in minutes.the guide they sent was Mara,she was great,well deserving of the highest rating.other than the bull run we had no other things planned for that day.Mara drove us to so many different sites and things to do it was great.its nice to sit back and enjoy the island and not have to worry about driving and directions.she is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the island and people. she is one with both.she took special care in directions of what not to do at the bull run.i ran with the bulls and locals and she sat with my wife in a safe place she arranged.i highly recommend spottours and if possible Mara.she really made that our favorite day on terceira.i cannot wait to return and do another tour
