Gabby and Capt Mike were perfect. Gabby was amazingly informative and knew her stuff also the historical info got me hooked. Capt Mike got the tour cruising and can be the Capt anytime. Saw a baby and the rest of the pod. Made the trip for us. Will be back next year for another tour. Thank you both very very much. Cheers.
It was a great trip on the water! Saw many dolphins and the beautiful sunset! Great crew members and the captain is awesome! I will definitely be back next time we are in town!
We arrived to find out that the expected trip was not what we were going on- they promptly told us we would not be stopping at the shell island- Which it plainly states on the ticket. And we paid for. The ticket person said I don't know- you have to talk to a manger- but we are not going. this boat ride seemed like a view the famous people houses and see the sunset- which I would not have brought the kids on- No dolphins, no Dolphines were being searched out for either I get that they are wild- I did hear on the radio some of the other boats were talking about locations of them- the driver (first in charge was very interested in dating the women sitting by us through and talking to her and impressing her). I have used this service before and have been happy with the people providing the tours but the second in charge did not say anything 9maybe new) and the captain had other interests- we sat and waited for the sunset for over 15 mins, maybe that is typical. I would not call this a family excursion kids were restless.
Nice trip. Loved seeing the dolphins.
Sunset cruise was great. Captain and crew were friendly.
We were enthusiastic about taking a short boat ride and discovering the dolphins. This not being our 1st experience. Every time we go to Florida, we like to take a boat ride and discover the fauna and flora, but especially the dolphins. At the beginning of the trip, we were told that with the tropical storm that had passed a few days before, the water would not be clear. ok. In summary, we saw two dolphins in a marina at the end of the excursion. The explanations were not the most sophisticated. The boat ride boils down to a simple boat tour; a tourist trap. In short, we saw more dolphins from our hotel balcony which looked directly out onto the sea. Every day we are treated to two to four dolphins putting on a show. We highly suggest that you take a private boat ride or a boat with a maximum of 12 people in the Ten Thousand Islands area.
We booked the sunset trip and then it stormed and rained all day until an hour before our cruise. Captain Mike and Alyza were incredible, The captain said it was the first time in 8 years he’s had to cancel any trips and not seen a dolphin but the site said we’d stop at a sand bar and once on the boat, they said we would not be stopping on the evening tour so trip advisor needs to update the sunset cruise. None the less we did have a great ride with a beautiful view. Was it was very informative!
They don't give you proper directions on where the tour is and are very rude on the phone when asking.
This was an amazing experience! We were able to see a dolphin family, including a baby, in a private marina. Then we took a ride out to the open ocean and saw many more dolphins. My daughter got scared with the waves and Aliza, the guide, came to check on her. She was very sweet and knowledgeable. The Captain, Tim, was knowledgeable and gave us great information on the area, especially the homes. We also stopped at a sandbar where we were able to collect shells and see more marine life. We saw a mini/baby octopus, tiny baby shrimp, baby crabs, and more! The best dolphin watching experience I have had. The kids also got free ice cream!
I booked the sunset dolphin tour and showed up 20 minutes early to park and make sure we were there on time. We called and asked them where we should go because the lot was crowded and we had no idea where the actual location was. We couldn’t see any signs for the place and Apple Maps and Waze both had different locations. So we just went to the marina to look for parking and spend 15-20 minutes circling the marina parking. We called them again and were told to park in 30 minute parking because the cops won’t tow us there just ticket us. We called Viator to get a refund and were informed we were told to show up two hours early in an email from the operators. I checked my email and finally found it in my promotions which I had shrugged off thinking it was an ad from Viator. That’s a Gmail issue not the operators though. Viator kept me on the phone for over 30 minutes telling me I can’t get a refund until it was suddenly approved because I was adamant on speaking to a higher up staff member. Showing up 2 hours early for an hour and a half tour in the Florida heat and having to wait around for the tour to start seems extremely unreasonable. Also the fact that you don’t get informed about the awful traffic or parking situation until after booking, there is no warning on the listing, and the email goes to promotions if you use Gmail seems kind of shady. Book at your own risk, I’m sure the tour is fun, I wouldn’t know though, but everything before the tour was miserable.
