Vlad accompanied us through Kosovo and showed us many special places and secret corners. The tour started in Pristina and then continued to the old town of Prizren. In general, one can say that Kosovo is a completely different experience than Macedonia. However, also a very worthwhile experience. You could talk to Vlad about everything and ask any questions. He also showed us a few extra places on top when he realized that the time schedule could be well maintained. The van was air-conditioned and the pace was such that, among others, the nearly 90-year-old lady could keep up well until the end. Would do it again anytime!
Fascinating trip - I learnt a lot about the history and context of the region, this trip is much more than just seeing the sights. Our guide was quite knowledgeable about the history and complexity. Good time and itinerary management, our guide was experienced and knew how to avoid the traffic (during a national long weekend holiday!), and kindly took us via a scenic mountain drive as an extra bonus - the small group size was perfect for the day tour, thank you so much!
Salim was a great guide. Kosovo was marvelous. Lots of history. Take this tour. You won't regret it.
Selim is the real deal. Full day in Kosovo with a group of 8 — Pristina and Prizren — and he handled it flawlessly. Knowledgeable without lecturing, punctual without rushing, safe and confident behind the wheel. Keeping eight people happy and on schedule across two cities in a single day is no small thing. He made it look effortless. Book him via Skopje Daily Tours!
I was really surprised discovering Kosovo and getting the knowledge by someone that is part of it all day information related by this country very recommended
It was perfect! Igor and the local guide from kosovo were amazing! We saw everything important and for a lot of Information. We also enjoyed some free time.
It made it easy to see Kosovo and to not have to deal with the local buses. It was good to see both of the main cities.
My husband and I took a day trip to Kosovo from Skopje with Daily Tours. We had about 6 people in our group and took a van to get there. Our guide, Selim, was amazing. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and we had such a fun time with him. Pristina and Prizren are not very big with not a ton to see, but our guide showed us around and gave us the history- we saw churches, mosques, a library, two museums, and a lookout view. Highly recommend Skopje Daily Tours.
We've had a great day. Especially our guide Selim has made this day a very beautiful experience.
We had a fantastic day trip to Kosovo and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the country's highlights in a single day. The company was excellent from the moment I booked. They contacted me shortly afterwards with clear instructions about the meeting point, suggested some of their other tours, and asked if I had any questions. It was a thoughtful touch that made the whole process feel very organised and reassuring. On the day, we met our guide, Selim, with ease. Our group was small—just eight people—which made for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We travelled in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus, making the longer journeys between destinations very pleasant. Our first stop was Pristina, where Selim gave us an informative walking tour before allowing around 30 minutes of free time to explore at our own pace. We also stopped for some delicious burek, which was a great introduction to the local cuisine, before continuing on to Prizren. Prizren was undoubtedly the highlight of the day. It's a beautiful city with a strong Ottoman influence, full of character and history. Selim took us on another excellent walking tour, including visits to the Mother Teresa Museum and one of the city's clock towers, where we were rewarded with stunning panoramic views. We then had around an hour and a half of free time to wander the charming streets, browse the shops, or simply soak up the atmosphere before making the journey back. A special mention has to go to our guide, Selim. He was outstanding—friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing Kosovo's history and culture. He was also very considerate throughout the day, regularly checking in with the group and making sure everyone was comfortable and happy with the pace and itinerary. A couple of things worth noting for anyone considering the tour: it is a full day, lasting around 11 hours, and there is a fair amount of driving involved. Border crossings can sometimes cause delays, although we were fortunate to pass through without any issues. Also, this tour is designed to give you an excellent introduction to Kosovo rather than an in-depth exploration of each city. If you're hoping to see the country's highlights, learn about its fascinating history, and get a real feel for both Pristina and Prizren in a single day, it's hard to imagine a better way to do it. If you want to explore every museum, café, and hidden corner, you'll probably want to return for a longer stay—which, after this trip, I certainly hope to do! Overall, this tour was exceptionally well organised, offered a great balance of guided sightseeing and free time, and provided a wonderful introduction to a country that deserves to be better known. It was absolutely worth it, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region.
