EXCLUSIVE TOUR at Diego Rivera Anahuacalli Museum - Small Groups

Description
The Anahuacalli Museum, whose name in Nahuatl means 'house on land between two seas,' is a visionary creation by Diego Rivera together with architect Juan O'Gorman. Conceived as a studio, museum, and temple for art, this one-of-a-kind space allows visitors to appreciate not only the vast collection of crafts and pre-Hispanic pieces Rivera gathered throughout his life, but also contemporary works in constant dialogue with the past. Its monumental architecture, inspired by ancient Mesoamerican constructions and built with volcanic stone, makes it a work of art in itself. Integrated into the natural environment of El Pedregal, Anahuacalli is also a City of the Arts: a living place where art is exhibited, created, and reflected upon. It is a constantly evolving museum that unites pre-Hispanic and contemporary aesthetics — past, present, and future — in a single space.
