This personalized experience is great for nature lovers and those who appreciate a tour that is respectful of the environment. Visit multiple beautiful waterfalls, with an epic local tour guide. There are opportunities for safe cliff jumping, or choose to swim, soak, or simply admire the magic of the Falls. If your group is 3 people or less you may be combined with another group. of 2 or less. If the group is 4 people or more, this will be a private tour for your family only. Only your group and your guide will be participating.

This hike will lead you through the mystic jungle of bamboo trees, exotic fruits! This 3.5 hour adventure will include floating, swimming, and relaxing in some of Maui's most breath taking waterfalls. Optional cliff jumping available in various locations. Whether you want a challenging obstacle course or a relaxing waterfall lounge day, this is a wonderful option for you. This jungle adventure is a mild-moderate hike for our average traveler.

My husband and I are not skilled hikers, but our tour guide Lesley made the 13 Crossing Trail an exceptional…nay…epic experience . She was calm, patient, and knowledgeable about the trail. There were challenging aspects that we did not anticipate, but Lesley helped us navigate through the muddy terrain and to our waterfall destination. It was a memory we will never forget! Thanks Lesley and Epic Maui Hikes!
We had an amazing time with Ani. It was a real adventure, perfect for our family, and something our children will never forget. I also appreciate the Information and insights Ani provided on our trek. I highly recommend this Epic adventure!
Duped! Do not book this experience! When we arrived we were loaded into a van and told the hike would be a 45 minute drive. There was no hike! We were in a van and the tour guides took us more than half way to Hana instead of doing the waterfall hike. Once we had been driving for over an hour and a half they said the original hike was rained out and we were headed to a waterfall on the road to Hana. We did see the waterfall and it was very beautiful but ended up spending the entire afternoon in a van on very windy roads, not hiking! I called to let the company know how disappointed we were and they promised a follow up call and I never heard from them. Every person on this "adventure" was upsets. DO NOT BOOK THIS!
Aloha, you have heard back from us. And we’ve offered to take you out again on another adventure in better conditions for free, you declined. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience. We only have 2 options when a trail is flash flooded and that is to take you on a halfway to Hana tour or cancel & refund the tour. Our guide mentioned she already gave you these options prior to the tour, and you chose to go knowing. Flash floods on trails happen 3-5x a year on Maui. Happy to hear you enjoyed the beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately your trip fell on days with very poor weather. We wish you the best in all the rest of your time on Maui. We have spoken to everyone else on your trip, and they claimed to have a lovely time getting banana bread, seeing a gorgeous waterfall, and looking at rainbow eucalyptus trees. We would love to not be weather dependent, but we’re a hiking company on a tropical island. Storms do happen & we do our best. We apologize that the tour fell on a storm day on Maui.
Hiking muddy unmarked trails doesn't seem like a good time, but we ended up at the best waterfalls I've ever seen in person!! Leslie was knowledgeable, caring, and solicitous of us having a good time.
Tour guides were friendly and energetic. They had a headset on in the van on the way to the hike but did not give historical background information or really point out landmarks. The hike was more difficult than expected. Waist deep crossings through fast running water and some muddy slopes so steep you had to use a rope to pull yourself up. The waterfall was beautiful and my kids had a good time on the rope swing. The description of the activity made it seem like the iitenarary was more flexible but there is a specific hike and one spot to stop.
Steven was the best guide we could’ve asked for: it was an unforgettable day and the highlight of our trip to Maui. Steven went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, took us to several waterfall spots, we had plenty of time to cliff jump, and at the end he even took us to a delicious food truck place for dinner. We are so grateful we got him as the guide as he was very adventurous, and that’s exactly what we were aiming for: some thrill and excitement! So do yourself a favor and request to be guided by Steven and have a blast!
This was the only adventure we had actually planned in advance and it didn't disappoint! Our guide, Lauren, was absolutely amazing! We have two teen boys and she did a great job of engaging with them and making it feel like we were hanging out with a friend! We highly recommend the Epic Adventures hike to anyone looking to do something a little different! We will definitely book again during our next trip! 🤙
Lauren was the best guide. We have three adventurous boys ages just 14 to 19 and everyone had the absolute best time. Laurent made sure to keep everyone safe but also have so much fun. Jumping off the cliffs was by far everyone’s favorite part. Highly highly recommend. I thought it was expensive when I booked but it’s worth every penny.
Julisa was a great person to spend part of the day with. Warm and personable, she made sure we were safe and had a great time. She is full of knowledge about Maui and happy to share. The water felt great and cliff jumping was fun. Highly recommend this tour.
I actually wrote a review on google because I think everyone should know how amazing this trip is in Hawaii! We had a tour guide named Lauren and I can’t not tell you how amazing she did and wow on her knowledge on Hawaii! She loves this Island and you can tell by the amount of information she shares and the excitement in her! She was the best driver around the curvy road to Hana! No one in our party of 6 got sick! And I always have 2 who are pronged to car sickness! Then when we got to our stop to hike through this epic rain forest with gorgeous bamboo and the beautiful flowers it was breathtaking! Then we crossed the water and climbed on rocks to get to the waterfalls and it had a rainbow!! My 16, 18, 19, 23(kids) and 55 year old husband had a ball doing flips and jumping off cliff! Lauren took the best pics and truly became a part of our family! She treated us so good and really took care of our safety! We stopped and looked at the turtles on way back at the local beach people surfed! Truly a magical trip! My only advice is to book this tour the first day of vacation bc the knowledge you receive will help you the rest of the week planning great things to do! I definitely will return and ask for Lauren!!
