Description
First we will visit the house of Virgin Mary. Then, we will visit Ephesus, the second largest city in the ancient world. The ancient city of Ephesus has been the most important city in this region for 3 thousand years. Then we will visit the Temple of Artemis, which took a more important role in the development of the city. On our way back, we will have a panoramic tour of the city and then have a typical Turkish lunch (drinks only not included) at the Turkish carpet production center, we will learn the intricacies of carpet art and return to the location where we started.

EPHESUS is a visit to one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world. Ancient historians believed that Ephesus was founded by the Amazons, but now, it is believed to have been the Hittite city of Apasas. With your guide, you will see the Odeion, where the advisory council held its meetings and the Roman Baths, as well as many other columns, monuments and ruins, including the Celsus Library and the Grand Theater of Ephesus. (If entrance fees are to be paid in cash, Turkish lira is accepted. You can also pay by Visa Master card credit card.)
TEMPLE OF ARTEMIS, one of the wonders of the ancient world.
There is a small Byzantine church in the ruins of the Virgin Mary, which can be reached by passing the upper gate of the ancient city of Ephesus. It is believed that Mary, the mother of Jesus, lived and died here. The holy is respected and visited by Christians, healing is sought, offerings are made. (If entrance fees are to be paid in cash, Turkish lira is accepted. You can also pay by Visa Master card credit card.)

This is the tour to take!!! We were on a cruise so just had the day to site see and we did all the things on our list and then some! Serah was very informative and fun. Our tour took us to lunch and the food authentic and yummy! We didn't know what to expect and we all had our favorite dishes and ordered seconds. The ancient ruins at the few stops we went to would not have been the same if it was not for our tour guide. She helped with the heat suggestions, where to walk to be careful along our paths around, and all around great time. If I could do 6 stars I would!
