Pick up from KUSADASI PORT Meeting with our tour guide at Kusadasi port with EPHESUS SHUTTLE sign. ( We have different pick up times for different cruises. The pick up time will be given during your confirmation )
After Greeting, We drive to Ephesus Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; it was built in the beginning of the 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila to be a memorial to his father Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of Province of Asia. , the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.
Visit Terrace Houses is located on skirt of Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units which were built on three man-made terraces. These houses were settled by wealty citizens of Ephesus. These houses were very fancy decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to ascend from bottom to top. Not recommended for people who has walking difficulties and acro-phobia (fear of heights).
We will stop at Artemission Temple where used to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world as our last stop before drive back to Kusadasi town center and port. The end of our services.

We are a family of 3 from Canada, first time to Ephesus. We spent a lot of time looking for a tour because we wanted to see the highlights with a guide, and also wanted the flexibility to adapt the pace at any moment. It was also important to us to not have a stop at any rug or leather or anything else like that because we have limited time and that isn’t how we want to spend it. Anyhow, it was easy to spot all the signs off the cruise area and our guide Ersan was outstanding! He walked us through the port, showing us highlights right from the start. The ride was air conditioned and comfortable and Ersan told stories as we drove to the ruins, which we all enjoyed very much and it brought the beautiful country alive for us. We enjoyed the ruins and Artemis very much. Esran showed us reconstructed pictures of Artemis which made the significance of the site really apparent. Recommend bringing water, hat, sunscreen and sun umbrella! It’s hot in August and you’re in the sun quite a bit. Very much recommend this tour and Esran was amazing!
We had a fantastic experience with Ephesus Shuttle from beginning to end. Pickup at the cruise port was easy and exactly as arranged, with a comfortable private van waiting for just the two of us. Our guide, Selda, was excellent. She was knowledgeable, personable and gave us plenty of information without making the day feel like a history lecture. We especially appreciated that she listened to what we wanted to see and allowed us to enjoy Ephesus at our own pace rather than rushing us from stop to stop. Our driver Emra kept the trip smooth and steady. For $99 per person, including a private guide, driver and van, the value was honestly remarkable. We looked at many tour options before our visit, and this exceeded our expectations. If you’re arriving in Kuşadası by cruise ship and want a private, flexible and informative way to experience Ephesus, I would absolutely recommend Ephesus Shuttle and especially Selda and Emre.

Olgu was a great guide! Picked up at the pier from a cruise ship with them waiting for us with a sign in hand as promised and the Ephesus tour was great as well as seeing some interesting shops in the area.

This tour was excellent. We were lucky that our small group tour ended up being a private tour for the two of us. Our guide, Emre, was outstanding. He gave us great information while touring Ephesus. He was a trained archaeologist and was excited that we were interested in history and was able to answer all of our questions and add additional information. We also appreciated that he handled the religious history in the context of archeology. We would also recommend adding the optional visit to the Terrace Houses while at Ephesus. He also gave us the option of visiting a family that makes Anatolian pottery (one of only 5 still doing this) and it was amazing to see and learn how the pottery is made.
