Enjoy the Coast of Biscay: Visit Dragonstone and beautiful towns

A great way to spend a day learning about the history of the Basque people in Spain. Jose is very knowledgable and quite friendly. Would highly recommend this tour.

This was a private tour with Jose as our guide. It was just what we were looking for. It was relaxing, but very well organized, and there were opportunities for us to change the activity of the tour and how much walking we did, or how many stairs we walked. It was a nice day, but it was threatening to rain and it had rained overnight so some of the pathways that we went on in the morning were slippery. We appreciated Jose being flexible with us. As well, he had a very interesting presentation about politics and the governance of the Basque country as it related to Spain. He had many restaurant suggestions for us for Bilbao. We would highly recommend Jose‘s tour.

We’re a couple based in Germany and have done countless tours across Europe and beyond, but Jose’s passion for and knowledge of Bilbao and the sights we visited really put this tour in a class of its own. He was incredibly warm and friendly, and constantly shared fascinating historical insights and current-day context about the places we visited. We also loved his sense of humor. We couldn’t recommend Jose and this tour more highly!

Jose Luis is simply a magnificent guide 😁 kind, available, competent, understanding, cultured, and everything happens at your own pace. If you want to have lunch, he will make suggestions and it will be up to you to choose, but it will be good and affordable. As for the route, it is very beautiful and very diverse, between nature (wow views), magnificent buildings, and culture all along the way 👍

José picked us up on time and had an excellent itinerary mapped out for the day. He gave us the option to choose our own lunch spot which was great. We had an excellent time. Were I to come back to the area I would definitely book something with him again.

Jose was a wonderful guide who took us to several places along the coast. He gave us interesting information about the history of of the coastal cities and the politics that affected rhem, especially duing the second world war. Jose was extremely knowledgable, spoke perfect English and could not have been nicer! Our group of four truly enjoyed this day trip with Jose and would highly recommend him.

Our guide Jose Luis was without a doubt born to unveil his world to others. There is a passion in his explanations, without being overwhelming, in his ability to impart his experience and knowledge about Spain but in particular the Basque Country. He is above all else a gentleman in the way he cares for his clients. The three main places we went to were all different. From the dramatic vistas of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, to the traditional fishing towns of Bermeo and Mundaka, and the lovely historical town of Guernica (Gernika-Lumo). Just be prepared with an umbrella and/or a raincoat. Just like Ireland, Northern Spain is emerald green due to the abundance of rain. Nonetheless, we had a magnificent day. We highly recommend the tour and our amazing guide Jose Luis.

The trip with José was absolutely fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about both history and culture and took very much into account our needs. We enjoy the trip despite a little rain.

Lovely day of exploring Basque Country natural beauty and learning about history and culture. Despite weather predictions of rain, the adventure along the cost was wonderful. You cannot beat the reward of making it up to San Juan de Gatzelugatxe. Jose Luis is immensely knowledgeable and is tuned into to your needs, to either go more slowly or spend time in one stop. Highly recommend.
