Egyptian Museum of Antiquities Online QR Skip the Line Ticket

Muhammed Amin was the private tour guide during the day. We did in the same day a compressed visit with parts of the old churches, the pyramids and GEM. We had lunch in khufu restaurant in the pyramids (good food). Travel went smoothly, lots of history details provided. We would advise to take much more time next time in GEM, which is worth one day of visit. Support from FST Travels was done during the tour also remotely, performing checks on the tour, working diligently. Major problems that lead to the evaluation of 3-stars: There was a lack of timing organization in the transportation, since we were dropped and picked by a car across the several places. The delays were terrible, not really well planed notwithstanding keeping the driver informed beforehand of the pickup times. And, while already late (which they were aware) at the end of the tour, we spent extra time in a detour to leave the guide near his house...

Our guide, Nour, was the very best! Nour was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and a pleasant to have as my guide. I would absolutely recommend Nour, as the an excellent professional! he is.

I put it in without any problems. The ticket office was lined up, but I thought it was very convenient because I didn't wait in line. You will receive a ticket the day before, so if you check it properly, it will be fine. I recommend it.

Received the tickets in time before our visit and were able to enter the museum without any struggles. Can definitely recommend!

Mohamed Amin was a good guide and extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and pretty much had answers for most of your questions. I highly recommend him to anyone interested in touring Cairo, Egypt.

Be advised that Viator (and you, dear customer) are beholden to their local agencies/subcontractors/providers. We had a wackily lousy experience when we were not provided tickets/a QR code to the Egyptian Museum (which you don't need off season, by the way) and Viator, after a confusing process, relentless but totally useless emails and futile time-consuming WhatsApp conversations with customer service, is washing their hands of involvement and responsibility entirely. It's looking like I'll need to contest our charge with my credit card. Surreal.

While the destinations on this tour were incredible, the itinerary felt far too tight for just one day. Visiting the Egyptian Museum and the Citadel alone required more time than the schedule allowed, and unfortunately, we couldn’t even visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization due to time constraints. This was a major disappointment, as it's one of the key highlights of the tour. The Egyptian Museum offers an extensive collection of ancient artifacts, including the famous Tutankhamun treasures, and it really deserves several hours to explore fully. We had to rush through, which made it hard to appreciate the richness of the exhibits. At the Citadel, with its stunning views of Cairo and the iconic Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the time was again too short. We hurried through the grounds, unable to take in the architecture and history in depth. Overall, while the sites we did visit were fantastic, the tour schedule was overly ambitious, and skipping the National Museum due to lack of time was a real letdown. I would recommend splitting these attractions over two days for a more fulfilling experience.
