This is the largest religious structure ever built. It was the main place of worship for the god Amun-Ra and was continuously expanded by various pharaohs over two millennia. It's essentially a massive city of temples, pylons, and obelisks. Highlights: The Great Hypostyle Hall: An enormous hall featuring 134 colossal columns, some of which are over 70 feet tall. Sacred Lake: Used by the priests for ritual purification. Great Pylon: The massive entrance gate. Statue of the Giant Scarab Beetle: Walking around this statue is believed to bring good luck.
