We offer a great experience to explore the beauty of east Bali, especially the popular photography spot "Gate of Heaven" of Lempuyang Temple. We will start the tour at 08.00 from the hotel, it will take around 2 - 3 hours drive to Lempuyang Temple (Depend on location of your hotel). We will take you to the famous photo spot of "Gate of Heaven". If the sky is clear and weather is good, you will capture Mount Agung as background of the gate. Next, we will drive to Tirta Gangga, a former Royal Palace of Karangasem Kingdom. After visiting the palace, we will stop for lunch at local restaurant. Next, we will drive to Taman Ujung. It is a beautiful park with big fish pond surrounds the old Karangasem Empire heritage building. And our last stop is Virgin Beach, here you could chill and relax before driving back to hotel.

Lempuyang Temple is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with Besakih (aka the ‘mother temple’ of Bali). It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali.

Tirta Gangga Water Palace is situated in the middle of rice fields around the natural springs of Rejasa, approximately 7 km. (5 miles) north of Amlapura, the main town of east Bali, Indonesia. Tirtagangga royal watergarden is composed mainly by water, plants and sculptures, is a well-known cultural object of Bali and it belongs to the royal family of Karangasem.

Taman Ujung Karangasem or also known as Taman Soekasada Ujung (Edge Soekasada Park) is a water palace that has a floating palace located on an area of more than 10 hectares in Tumbu Village, Karangasem Regency, about 5 km in the southeast of Amlapura. Taman Ujung Karangasem was built by the King of Karangasem in 1919 and completed in its entirety in 1926 before Indonesia independent. Taman Ujung Karangasem is a tourist destination in the East Bali region which was built since the Dutch era at the instruction of one of the King of Karangasem, namely I Ketut Gusti Jelantik.

Unforgettable experience

Beautiful views in the east
Had a great trip with Naya. We've visisted all the places from description and I had plenty of time everywhere to take pictures. Generally worth a visit for the views. But tourists who visit the Lumpeyang Temple should be aware of the long waiting time to takw a picture. We've arrived around 11AM and the line was already huge. After one hour of food, we still had around 2 hours to wait to take the picture in heaven's gate... I've skipped it and just took some pics in front of it like other tourists. Completly not worth the wait in my opinion. You'd need to arrive there very early in the morning. Taman Ujung was probably my favourite place today. It's a beautiful garden. I've bought my trip with all fees, so I didn't have to pay for anything except food and coffee in the plantation. Also got myself some arak. It's a long drive from the city, around 2.5 hours one way, so it pretty much takes all day.

Great service for sightseeing in East Bali
Great driving service for reaching sightseeing in Easy Bali. The guide will make sure you have a pleasant trip, however, there was lack of knowledge and information about the sightseeing objects. You can agree on an additional stops for sightseeing not mentioned in the description, guide will adjust your route for you needs! This trip inspired to do more exploring in Bali.

Fantastic tour made even better by my awesome guide, Wede. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. If you are given the option to leave early, take it. It beats the Bali traffic and cuts down the wait time at attractions.

Such a great tour. My guide, Wede, was super friendly, knowledgeable and made sure that I was well taken care of. If given the option to go very early in the morning, I would strongly recommend you take that option. It saves time battling the traffic and with very popular attractions, it reduces the the wait time.

Great driver in Bali
Highly recommend Wena!
We had an excellent day exploring East Bali with Wena. We were picked up from our hotel in Sanur and visited the Gate of Heaven, Tirta Gangga Water Palace, and a stunning viewpoint. Before we set off, Wena gave us great advice on the best timings and route, which helped us avoid some of the crowds and made the day run really smoothly.
Wena is a fantastic driver - safe, professional, patient, and incredibly polite. His English is excellent, so chatting throughout the day was easy, and he was always happy to answer our questions and share information about Bali. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy each stop. Wena also took lovely photos of us experiencing these sites.
If you're looking for a reliable, knowledgeable driver who genuinely wants you to have the best possible experience, we can't recommend Wena highly enough.
We are going to book another day with Wena to visit another part of the island.

Great East Bali family adventure
Netra, the guide and driver was exceptional with our family of 2+2. He picked us directly from the hotel and even waited for 20 minutes as we were just finishing breakfast. Then we did East Bali Tour and he was very patient and understanding at each stop, even looked after 4 years old when we wanted to do so extra photos. Highly recommend Netra and Eco Bali Tours to everyone if you want peaceful and wonderful trip.
