Itinerary
We meet beside the Spire (the big needle) in the middle of O'Connell street. After being introduced to your local guide and your fellow travellers we move off to the first stop on our Pub Tour.
Recently pedestrianised, Capel street has become a hub at nighttime for Dubliners and visitors alike to enjoy Dublin's famous Pub Culture. At our first stop, we experience a craft beer bar serving locally produced Irish beer. Enjoy tasters of three distinct styles of beer from an Irish microbrewery as your guide explains how the beer is made and how you get the wonderful different flavours.
On our second stop, we visit a beautiful old Victorian close to the river for a glass of Guinness. Listen as your guide explains why Guinness tastes different and is so much creamier in Ireland compares to other places.
Our third stop is an iconic Dublin pub called Slatterys where we will have time to sit down and enjoy some of the finest traditional Irish food (optional) in the city. In this location, you will also have a taster of a superb Single Malt Irish whiskey as your guide describes the resurgence in the whiskey distilling industry in Ireland. To finish, we will have a taster of a delicious craft Irish gin and tonic from a micro-distillery in County Cork.
Our last stop is at a cosy Dublin pub to enjoy a traditional Irish music session. Stay as long as you like while you chat away with the locals and your fellow traditional as you enjoy this authentic Dublin Pub experience.

Conor was a fantastic guide; he was able to blend history with culture and humor. Successfully makes you feel like you’re not just a tourist, but a friend. Honestly, he created a night that I’ll never forget. Very happy I booked this tour and would 100% recommend to a friend.
We went to 4 stops. We got fantastic information. I learned the proper way to drink a Guinness. The last stop had live music. It was a little cramped for the size of our group. We learned about craft beers in Ireland. Overall a good time. Good amount of drink.
Fun tour, Sam was our guide. He was clearly very knowledgeable but a little too serious for my liking. He focused on the alcohol which was fine but I would have liked more about the pubs. He reprimanded the group for having fun/lughing and then threatened to stop the tour because he thought someone didn’t pay. Have a better system to avoid that issue. Recommended and would do it again.
Everyone was very friendly and Rob is a great tour guide
It’s the kind of tour where you start out as strangers and walk away as friends. Rob is a genius guide ver knowledgeable and gets everyone involved. The different pub stops were great, you got to see the different type of pub experiences Dublin has to offer. Would highly recommend!
A good to time with your new best drinking buddies, that you'll never see again 😜 Well organized tour with a fun tour leader. Good craic!
It was a great way to spend an evening in Dublin. Better than doing it on your own. Guide was there to meet us on time and did a good job
Our host Sam was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. We had a lovely evening with a great group of people of different nationalities. I liked the fact that food wise, you ordered and paid for what you wanted,. Thoroughly recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening on this tour. Sam was a friendly, informative host and we enjoyed mixing with a cosmopolitan group of tourists. We were surprised to be the only English members of the group, the rest consisting of USA , Canada and Switzerland.. The tour wasn’t too strenuous and was generous with the tastings. We also enjoyed the food and liked being able to order and pay for what we wanted.
My name is Tiziano, I am Italian and I teach service practices and dining room and bar sales at a hotel management school. Participating in an Erasmus program in Dublin, I chose together with a colleague of mine to try this experience, hoping, as advertised, that it would be something alternative to the usual tourist offerings and hoping that it would enrich my linguistic and professional skills. Jack, the guy who welcomed us and accompanied us on the tour of these typical Irish pubs, proved to be competent but easygoing, allowing the 8 participants in the group, coming from 4 different countries, to socialize and feel at ease. Personally, since it is also my job, I suggest including a food tasting directly for a small price increase, as by the third pub, some people were starting to feel a bit "drunk." However, I absolutely recommend it
