Get ready for your Half day desert safari Dubai as our guide picks you from your selected location or hotel. Board our 4WD vehicle that will take you to the desert. Once you reach the Lahbab desert, be welcomed into an air-conditioned tent with refreshments (Arabic tea/coffee with dates) take a small break for 20-25 minutes, make use of restroom, or even opt for a quad bike drive, while your vehicle ready for the off-road drive with adjusted tyre pressures.
Next, seat comfortably for the dune bashing session. Enjoy the rhythm of the vehicle riding over the sand dunes and feel the adrenaline rush! After around 30-45 minutes of dune bashing, click as many photos you want and relax for some time before you proceed for sand surfing (sandboarding). First, follow the instructions of your guide before you climb up and down the sandbanks on your board. As you surf over the sands, you will find this quite funny and unique! Next, stop for a camel ride in the open desert. Later, relax in an air-conditioned tent and enjoy soft drinks and Arabic tea or coffee with dates.
Finally our guide will drop you off at your preferred location or hotel.

Complimentary pick-up is available from Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman hotels, apartments, and Cruise terminals in Dubai ( Port Rashid ) & Dubai Harbour. Dubai Airport is available from the Holiday Inn Airport hotel. Pickup from Bab Al Shams, Al Maha resort, and Jebel Ali is available for an additional fee.

Important Information
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- It is highly recommended that you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.
- We highly recommend having international travel insurance, as self-driving activities carry inherent risks that may lead to serious injury. Coverage for such incidents is typically provided only through your personal insurance.
- All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box
- OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury.
- Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
- Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter
- Pickup will be 45min prior to your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time.
- Kindly share your Whatsapp number for an easy communication during the pickup
- Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.
- Everything listed in the Inclusions is part of the tour and is covered in the price. Quad biking is available if the option is selected.
- Camel Ride: Children below 12 years of age cannot ride alone and must be accompanied by an adult.
- Quad Bike: Children below 16 years cannot ride on their own and must be accompanied.
- By participating, you acknowledge and accept that some activities involve inherent risks and unforeseen incidents, and adequate travel and health insurance is strongly recommended for your safety and financial protection. Recommended Age for Self-Driving Activities: Sandboarding: 12-50 years, Quad Biking: 16–50 years. Animal-related activities (company not responsible for uncontrollable natural behaviour of animals): Camel Ride (Recommended age: 12–50 years) Falcon, Horse Riding.
- Helmets & safety gear are highly recommended where applicable, and participation is entirely at your own risk, the company will not be responsible for any accidents, damage, loss, or death from these activities.
- By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. (If this conditions are applicable to you, please contact our Consultant to customize your tour)

We had an absolutely brilliant desert safari with OceanAir Travels Dubai and would definitely recommend it! The whole experience was so much fun from start to finish – dune bashing, sandboarding, the falcon experience and quad biking were all fantastic. There was a great mix of excitement, laughs and plenty of opportunities to take some amazing photos. A very special mention has to go to our driver and guide, Zada Irfan, who really made the experience for us. He was friendly, welcoming, professional and great fun throughout the trip. His driving during the dune bashing was incredible – exciting enough to have us screaming and laughing, but we always felt completely safe in his hands! 😂 Zada looked after us so well, explained everything clearly, helped us get the most out of each activity and made sure we were enjoying ourselves throughout. He has a lovely personality and made the whole day feel relaxed, personal and memorable rather than just another organised excursion. Thank you, Zada, and OceanAir Travels for such a fantastic experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our Dubai holiday and an easy 5 stars from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had an amazing experience on our desert safari, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide and driver, Ramzan. He was extremely professional, friendly, courteous, and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves throughout the entire trip. Ramzan was an excellent and skilled driver, especially during the dune bashing, which was one of the highlights of our safari! He was knowledgeable, patient, and took great care of us from pickup to drop-off. He also made the whole experience fun and memorable for our family. We truly appreciated his hospitality and positive attitude. Highly recommend Ramzan to anyone booking a desert safari in Dubai. Great experience and defo worth it. Ilyas was our tour guide and he was perfect we had a 5 year old and she did everything as we all felt so comfortable. Only thing you need to know is they charge you for scarf/face covering and I think this should be included in price. Shared the tour with 3 other people and all were lovely and enhanced the experience. Quad Biking included and was so worth it
