Great food tour of downtown Nashvilee
Paige was fantastic. She explained everything we saw and gave us little tidbits that made it very interesting. The food was excellent and we got a good flavor of what Nashville has to offer. I highly recommend this tour. We were stuffed at the end of the tour.

We want our Downtown Nashville Food Tour to give guests a real taste of the city beyond Broadway—both through the food and the stories behind it. And we definitely don’t believe in letting anyone leave one of our food tours hungry!
Thank you for the recommendation and for choosing Walk Eat Nashville!

Great bites and a fantastic guide
Sterling was the kind of guide who makes you feel like you’re hanging out with a friend who just happens to know all the best bites and coolest history. Every stop was a win. We learned fun facts without it feeling like a lecture, and we’re already planning the next one. Come hungry. Leave grinning.
Operator response
Thank you so much for the 5 stars! I love your description of Sterling—it captures exactly what we want a Walk Eat Nashville tour to feel like: exploring the city with a local friend who knows where to eat and has some great stories to share along the way.
“Come hungry. Leave grinning.” That pretty much sums it up! We’re especially glad to hear you’re already planning your next tour. Each of our Nashville neighborhoods has its own food, history, and personality, so there’s plenty more to discover.
We look forward to having you back!

Nashville off of Broadway
Great time, great food. Our hostess was wonderful- personable and knowledgeable.
It is quite a bit of walking- so just a heads up if you have trouble with that. Otherwise, it’s a great experience that was a highlight for our family group.
Operator response
Thank you for the 5 stars! I love hearing that our Downtown Nashville Food Tour was a highlight for your family. Getting off Broadway to enjoy great food, local stories, and a different side of downtown is exactly the experience we hope to create.
And thank you for mentioning the walking. We cover about 1–1.5 miles over roughly three hours, so it’s helpful for future guests to know what to expect when deciding if the tour is a good fit.
Thank you for choosing Walk Eat Nashville to be part of your family’s time in Nashville!

Fun Experience, Disappointing Food Options
Overall I enjoyed my experience on our food tour. I booked with this company after the last company I had booked with canceled on me last minute. They were very accommodating even for me booking the morning of the tour. Our tour guide Rebekah was very sweet and knowledgeable. However, I was not terribly impressed with the food options we were served on our tour. Out of the 5 stops, I really only thought 2 were of the quality I was expecting. The first stop we were served a chicken sandwich that was just mid, nothing special. The second stop we were served Nashville's signature hot chicken which I enjoyed being able to sample the different heat levels. The third stop was a southern BBQ shrimp that was delicious. The fourth stop we were served a salad. A plain farm salad, nothing special. While we were eating the plain farm salad, one of the employees from this restaurant were talking about all the delicious other food options they have. It felt like we should have been served something more elevated than a salad. The last stop we went to the Goo Goo candy bar shop which was also slightly disappointing since I was hoping to have a local, chef prepared dessert and not a commercially available candy bar. We were told the first stop where we were served the chicken sandwich had won awards for their desserts. It was disappointing to see those in the case and then be served a candy bar as our dessert.
Again overall, I did enjoy my experience, I just felt that the food options were not as impressive as I was hoping.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. I'm so glad we were able to accommodate your last-minute booking and that you enjoyed your time with Rebekah. I'll be sure to share your kind words with her.
I'm sorry to hear some of the tastings didn't meet your expectations. We spend a great deal of time curating a menu that represents the many flavors of Nashville, but food is incredibly personal, and we know every guest will have different favorites.
I especially appreciate your comments about the farm to table restaraunt tasting. Based on your description, that doesn't sound like the type of dish we typically expect to showcase there, and I'll be following up with our restaurant partner to better understand what was served that day. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
I also appreciate your comments about dessert. Our final stop includes both Nashville's iconic Goo Goo Cluster and one of Goo Goo's handcrafted bonbons, but I understand you were hoping for a different style of dessert. Feedback like yours is genuinely helpful as we continue evaluating our tour experience.
Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to show you around Nashville. We wish you many more wonderful food adventures.
