Departure from Porto city center (Palácio da Bolsa) at 7:45 AM, heading towards the heart of the Douro Valley on a comfortable and scenic drive.
Stop in Amarante for free time to walk, take photos, or enjoy a coffee by the riverside
Drive by Peso da Régua, one of the most important towns in the Douro, surrounded by vineyards and river views.
Visit a traditional Douro Valley winery and discover the region’s rich winemaking heritage during a guided tour, followed by a tasting of carefully selected local wines.
Admire the historic Pinhão Railway Station, renowned for its stunning blue-and-white azulejo panels that tell the story of the Douro Valley’s wine culture and traditions.

Excellent tour. Sandro was amazing. Most of the individual guides outside of him were amazing. Very good value as this hits Amarante, the beautiful highway road, 2 wine making establishments, the train station in the one Douro town, a very tasty lunch and a boat ride. Would recommend

Amazing experience! Easy pick up, comfortable ride throughout the day. From the start our tour guide and driver were polite, attentive and knowledgeable, providing an unforgettable experience. Well worth the price given the duration of the tour. The lunch and the cruise were my favorite parts. Would highly recommend this tour!

We absolutely loved this tour. The tour plan is great, with the right amount of activities, wineries and interesting places to visit. The guide Sandro was also amazing. Very friendly and accommodating, he shared lots of interesting facts and stories. Overall the energy and the vibe was great so we highly recommend taking this tour.

We did the small group wine tour with Alesandro which was about €110 pp. This was a great tour which lasted about 10 hours (8am-6pm). Alesandro was great in terms of information, driving and very informative and friendly. Our tour group had 7 people plus the guide and included: - a 30 minute stop in the pretty riverside town Amarante - Casa Santa Eufémia winery for a tour and tasting - Generic group boat tour with other groups. Pleasant enough but not the most interesting, basically the boat just goes up the river 25 minutes and back again. The terrace landscape and winding river is very impressive though. - Brief stop at Pinhao train station to see murals - Lunch at a family style place. We got a fish stew and the pork cutlets with some rice and potatoes and wine. Very simple where you serve yourself but pleasant. The pork was particularly nice. It would have been nicer to go to a place with an outside terrace and view though. - D'origem winery for an overview of the olive oil and wine making process and a further small tasting at the impressive terrace. - Final viewpoint of the terraces. Overall really great day out and Alesandro was great. If I was making suggested improvements, I think the boat/lunch could be slightly upgraded and it would be nice to try a few more wines/ports during the tastings.

Ricardo was an amazing tour guide and really made the experience. Really fun guy to hang out with and SO knowledgeable. We spent a lot of the time just bouncing questions off of him about Portuguese culture, wine, food, etc. He was also an excellent driver. There’s a lot of tight winding roads in the Valley and he navigated them expertly. Apart from the guide, the trip itself was great. Stunning views and all the stops were amazing.
