Itinerary
Our first stop will be at a beautiful Murano Glass Factory, where you will experience how the glass masters make their art. You will also get the chance to buy some items made by the glass-masters themselves.
After a nice boat-ride of about half hour in the Venetian Lagoon, we will stop in Burano Island, where you will have about 45 minutes to walk around this unique place, famous for its colourful houses. Here you will also have the chance to buy some Burano lace, the world famous craft from Burano. Lace production has been practiced in Venice since the 15th century. It is an irregular weaving technique that requires an extremely skilled hand with decades of experience. Over the centuries, lace-makers on the tiny island of Burano refined this technique developing a unique style which came to be known as punto Burano. This tradition of exquisite lace-making is still alive on this island in the Venice lagoon
After Burano, we will stop in Torcello Island. This stunning place is located in the north-east corner of the Venetian lagoon, and is only 10 km away from Piazza San Marco (St. Mark’s Square) . As of today, the island is mainly made up of vegetable gardens and is inhabited only by a few dozen people, while 1500 years ago it was the center of the entire Venetian civilization. Torcello had its greatest civilization development between the VII and X centuries, reaching a population of 20000 inhabitants, thanks to his flourishing business. Over the following centuries, it gradually and inexorably lost its importance, with all the main productive activities now moved in Venice. Only a few of the many monuments that once crowded the island, like churches and monasteries, have survived nowadays. Torcello is not only a splendid illustration of the birth of the Venetian civilization: it is first and foremost an island immersed in the fascinating world that is the Venetian lagoon.

Alessandro was fantastic and we loved this tour! It was efficient, and allowed us to explore Murano, Burano and Torcello with just the right amount of time at each. Alessandro is an excellent boat driver so the trips and docking were incredibly smooth. The trip was perfect for our 7 year old too. The islands are beautiful are the history of each interesting. Highly recommend!
Thanks ❤️
Truly amazing. Alessandro was a professional. Such a great experience.
Thank you!!!
Great experience! The boat was clean and well maintained. We learned about the islands and had time to explore. Highly recommend!
Thank you!

Thank you!
It was an amazing experience. We visited the most beautiful corners of the lagoon. The boat was confortable and the skipper, Alessandro, so kind. He knows very well the lagoon and he is very help full. More over he offered us some wine and some snacks to make our tour even better.
Thank you!
So thankful for Alessandro and the amazing private lagoon tour for two of Murano, Burano, and Torcello. We were picked up at our prearranged meeting spot promptly which happened to be right outside our hotel. He was easy to work either and communicated well leading up to the tour. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather for the day out in his well kept boat! He allowed you a good amount of time on each island to explore and shop while also providing history of the surrounding islands and area throughout the tour. The tour also included a glass blowing demonstration on Murano which was incredible! He was a wealth of information and very personable. It was the perfect way to spend a half day exploring Venice without being in a set schedule with a lot of other tourists. The tour is very reasonably priced for what you are able to see and do compared to larger tours. Highly recommend booking one of his tours! You won’t be disappointed!
Thank you Samantha!!! Pleasure to meet you
A wonderful, personal way to check out Burano and Murano. Allesandro worked diligently to reschedule our tour due to a sketchy weather forecast and he made the right call. He is personable, and knowledgeable about his home and its history, sharing facts and tidbits along the way. He showed genuine concern over our comfort. His boat driving skills are excellent, and flawlessly navigated the wake to minimize any risk of seasickness. Seeing these islands that are so different from Venice through the eyes of a was a great way to spend an afternoon.
Thank you! It was a pleasure to meet you
My husband and I recently made a short trip to Venice at the end of a Mediterranean cruise. Because we didn’t have a lot of time in our schedule, we booked this shorter morning trip to the Northern Islands of Venice with Alessandro, and it was perfect. We visited an amazing glass factory in Murano, shopped and ate lunch on our own in quaint Burano, and strolled through lovely, less inhabited Torcello. Each island was completely different and each was worth the visit. Along the way, Alessandro gave us historical information on the sites we passed. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He let us decide our time on each island and didn't rush us. He skippered his boat with our comfort in mind, inquiring frequently to ensure we weren't cold and that the boat speed was comfortable. I noticed he had several umbrellas on board to lend to his guests, although fortunately we had great weather and did not need them. He was also very courteous, helping us on and off of his boat. I highly recommend hiring Alessandro for a boat tour when you are next in Venice!

Alessandro was the perfect host. He accommodated every request and was courteous and knowledgeable. Great boat (no roof, but good anyway). I’d repeat and would highly recommend
