Enjoy a ferry ride from the marina in Sorrento to the island of Capri. The ferry ride is a short one, so don't miss the stunning views as you approach the island!
If you start your journey from Naples: Just a short distance from Naples, the island of Capri served as a treasured retreat for Roman Emperor Augustus, who enhanced the island with the construction of villas, temples, aqueducts, and ornamental gardens.
Your guide will meet up with you and escort you on an open-top taxi ride to the top of the island called Anacapri where you can enjoy stunning views of the Mediterranean sea and the island of Capri below. Then, make your way down to enjoy a guided visit of the gardens of Augustus. Enjoy some free time n the island before departing for Sorrento.
After returning to the island, you'll embark on a guided tour of Capri. View the various shops and artisans selling goods including famous custom sandals! Learn the history and culture of this island and it's historic significance that has transcended time. Your guide can then assist in showing you wonderful places to eat and enjoy the local flavours as you break for lunch
Make your way back to Sorrento by ferry (If you booked a tour from Sorrento)
Please note that if you booked the tour from Naples, you will end in Naples Port - Molo Beverello

Important Information
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

- The blue grottoes are only accessible if weather and tide permit.
- If the boat trip to the Blue Grottoes is not possible due to weather reasons, but the Blue Grottoes are still visitable, your guide will get you to the grottoes from land.
- Please note, in the winter months the Gardens of Augustus as well as the Monte Solaro chairlift may be closed due to maintenance. The funicular up to Capri’s main piazza may also be closed in the winter months for maintenance, in which case it will be substituted by a short taxi ride.

Patrick was INCREDIBLE!! Helped for us to see everything that we wanted by knowing when the best times were for each activity. We NEVER had to wait in long lines because Patrick knew all of the ins and outs to create a smooth operation. Every taxi, bus, and boat ride was ready and waiting on us! Patrick also set us up with a great lunch, and a boat tour of the island that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting!! Patrick is the man! If we’re ever in need of a tour guide again in the area, we’ll definitely be looking for Patrick’s services first!

We had a wonderful tour of Capri with Patrick. He was organized, friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable about Capri. He brought us to different interesting areas and provided historical information and interesting facts for each location. My son is afraid of heights and Patrick made changes to the tour to accommodate my son, but still found locations to visit and see the beautiful views of the island. Patrick is an incredible expert and a fun guide. We had a wonderful time exploring Capri for the day. We recommend the chairlift and boat ride around the island. The orange slushies and gelato at the stall near the Gardens of Augustus were top notch.

What a fantastic tour! Capri was amazing. If you have never been there, you have to go. One of the most beautiful places in the world. The tour was great, and worth very penny. There is a lot to choose from when you get there, so having someone to map out the day was priceless. We were always one step ahead of the crowd. Our tour guide was incredible. She had so much local knowledge, and knew all the right people. Recommend a fabulous place for lunch, that was affordable, and got us to the front of all the lines. My wife and I I could not say enough about this tour.
Marialuisa was our guide for our private tour of Capri. Touring with her was like hitting the “easy button.” She knew the best routes, timing and activities. She also arranged for all of our tickets, which really helped us maximize our day on the island. She knew all the operators on the island and made sure everything went seamlessly. Truly we had the perfect day on Capri. We took the first ferry, walked around the island, visited the gardens, went to Anacapri via a vintage car, took the chair lift to Monte Solaro, and had a wonderful meal at a restaurant she recommended in Anacapri. We also took a group boat around the island, which was a wonderful way to see Capri from a completely different viewpoint. Marialuisa was also a very interesting and kind person, who went out of her way to share her knowledge of Capri and Sorrento, and make us feel welcome. We absolutely loved spending the day with her. We went on a national holiday, (May 1), but thanks to her expertise, we completely missed the crowds. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.
