I previously took a tour with Reality Tours & Travel and had a very good experience. Later, the same guide founded his own company, so I decided to travel with him again. Unfortunately, this time the experience was very different. I did not find the tour safe, especially for women. The guide, J2, did not convey confidence and at several moments I did not feel safe during the trip. Based on my personal experience, I would recommend choosing Reality Tours & Travel instead of Mumbai with Locals, especially if safety is a priority.

However, after carefully reviewing our booking records and internal records, we have been unable to identify any tour or guest matching the experience you described. Viator is our primary booking platform, and the vast majority of our guests book through Viator. We have reviewed all of our recent bookings, including those in July, and cannot match this review to any customer who traveled with us. During that period, we had only two bookings, and both guests were single male travelers, which does not align with the circumstances described in this review. We also welcome genuine feedback, whether positive or negative. In the past, we received a very critical review from a verified guest. Rather than disputing it, we responded constructively, acknowledged the concerns raised, and used that feedback as an opportunity to improve our services. We believe honest reviews help us grow and provide valuable information to future travelers. For that reason, this review raises significant concerns. A substantial portion of it focuses on mentioning and recommending another tour company, Reality Tours & Travel, rather than providing specific details about an actual experience with Mumbai with Locals. The review explicitly encourages travelers to choose our competitor instead of our company. While our founder, Jeetu, worked for Reality Tours & Travel many years ago before establishing Mumbai with Locals, we believe reviews should reflect genuine customer experiences rather than promote competing businesses. g2 was a great guide! Took care of everything (getting rides, paying etc.) very nice and immersive way to see the city. He was also very knowledgeable about the various communities in Mumbai and always gave great answers for our many questions!
