Outstanding show in an intimate venue.
I took my four grandchildren, ages 9-14, to see this show in August 2026. It was a wonderful experience! High energy performance by amazingly talented acrobats. Club Fugazi is a small venue with great atmosphere and this show is a worthy addition to its rich history. Highly recommended.

Must-see performance!
I am native San Franciscan who attended San Francisco’s Beach Blanket Babylon on several occasions. As good of a show BBB was, my expectations were absolutely blown away yesterday afternoon when I attended the matinee performance of Dear SF. It was a 90 minute nonstop performance that made you smile, made you in awe of the performers athletic abilities, shout with pleasure, and kept you wondering “what’s next.” I especially enjoyed writing a “Dear SF” letter because it allowed me, to express my joy and pride for being a native. My paternal grandfather had is photographic studio on the top floor during the early 20th century, and I know that he looked down upon the performance last night with pride and joy. This is a must-see performance.

One of the very top highlights of a SF visit. I attend every trip.
Like a mini Cirque de Soleil without the “spectacle”, without the sparkly costumes.. Astonishing astounding gymnastics from a troupe of 10 talented entertainers/athletes. Upbeat. You will literally be gasping with amazement at their talents. WOW WOW WOW WOW doesn’t begin to express the talent & bravery?! ) displayed. Located in a gorgeous historic small theater right in North Beach at Columbus Ave & Stockton, 20-25 minute flat safe fun walk from fisherman’s wharf For kids 10 +. but mostly adults. Balcony seats are the best, close to stage but all seats are great in this small venue.

An entertaining show for the entire family and friends. You will be amazed.
"Dear San Francisco" is an entertaining show for the entire family. There aren't many performances that you can enjoy as a family with kids, young adults, to grandparents and all have a good time. Take your friends and enjoy the show.
There are a lot of excellent restaurants in all price ranges nearby....so it is an easy San Francisco experience.
Show provides background about San Francisco so it gives a little history of the area for tourists. I love the vintage video clips. The poetry slam with famous quotes from S.F. Bay Area poets is one of my favorite part. The circus performers make everything they do look so easy, you start thinking that you want to hang upside down on a trapeze, or flip around in the air.
The entire show is not too long.
The actual building has lots of character on the inside.
Crowd size varies, but I have gone several times to take guests, and there were always seats. My favorite place is to sit on stage.
Staff is friendly with the usual eclectic "San Francisco" character.
Snacks and drinks during the show are good. We like the cornbread, and non-alcoholic mixer.

What a helpful review of the entire experience here! Thank you for taking the time to lay it out in full detail. We think of a trip to the Club as a full experience: the room, the show, the staff, the menu highlighting different Bay Area purveyors, and the city all contributing to what the audience takes away from a visit. It's great to read that all of that factors into your review! We look forward to seeing you here again.

You have got to see this!
“Dear San Francisco” was just amazing. Incredible athletics, a lot of mindblowing information about San Francisco, and a walk down memory lane of the big epochs of San Francisco. As a fifth generation San Franciscan, I was surprised at how much I learned. I plan on bringing everyone I know to this show.
Operator response
So great to read your enthusiastic endorsement of the show. Particularly as a fifth generation San Franciscan. Many Bay Area locals assume the show was created for tourists, but in fact it was created by San Francisco natives to speak to, and for, locals. And while it's equally accessible- and delightful- for visitors to our city, it's the locals in the crowd that get swept away by the emotional journey. Thank you for helping to spread the good word here!

San Francisco highlight experience!
Second time seeing this show and it won’t be my last. Both shows were different and equally incredible. Being able to watch these uber-talented and dynamic performers in such an intimate and iconic SF venue is such a unique experience. It’s a must for anyone visiting San Francisco.

Hidden Gem!
We were on a girls trip and decided to book tickets to this show after seeing such good reviews and boy are we glad we did! I was keeping my expectations low and was skeptical after having seen so many acrobatic shows in Vegas but DeaR San Fran did not disappoint. Not only was the show heartfelt and entertaining as heck but the acrobatics they performed on that small of a stage were incredible! We found ourselves holding our breathes half the show and cheering loudly the rest of the time. The show even had some humor to it and they weren’t afraid to make fun on themselves. I would recommend this to people of all ages and would definitely go again next time I’m in town.
Operator response
Thank you for taking the chance on Dear San Francisco! We know it's not what many have come to expect of acrobatic shows but it's hard for people to know the fullness of the experience until they've actually come through. So it's very helpful to have you share that journey here. We look forward to your return!

Great show in San Francisco
What a great show. It was beautiful, whimsical, and thrilling. It evoked feelings of De La Guarda in NYC. It represented San Francisco so we'll! The drinks and small bites were surprisingly good and moderately priced. Know they will tack on 18% gratuity. There are seats on the stage but the vast majority of the show faces front. I'd say some of the best seats in the house are from above so you can see it all. It's totally worth the price and time to go see it.
