Mary was an amazing guide and made our experience memorable and fun. Very informative and helpful with her suggestions and tips for local restaurants and experiences. We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. Also, special thanks to our driver, Simon, for navigating the streets with ease!
We had a wonderful excursion! Great value for the money, terrific Driver, Simone, and a wonderful guide named Mary. I would recommend this Tours to anyone!
Mary was the best tour guide! She made such an unforgettable tour! She was very nice, and knowledgeable about all of our stops! We had so much fun in Solerno and Pompeii! Her communication was wonderful before and during the tour. Take the tour! You won’t regret it! Simon was also a phenomenal driver on our trip! He kept us safe and on time!
Mary was a great tour guide! We enjoyed everything and she was so knowledgeable. She ensured we had a great experience, would look her up again if in Salerno!!
Mary was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable about all of our stops. She explained everything so well and her communication before and during the tour was fantastic!! Please go on this tour! You won’t regret it!! Solerno is such a cool stop to have free time!
Our tour and guide were amazing. We are so thankful we booked this tour and had Selene as our guide. She was so helpful, Making sure we knew exactly where to meet her to begin the tour. She had wonderful recommendations throughout the day and extensive knowledge about the area and the history of the area as well. We highly recommend.
Overall, a great experience. A couple of stops along the Amalfi coast, then Sorrento for shopping and lunch. The restaurant was on a cliff with beautiful views, none of us were impressed with the food, iceberg lettuce for Caesar salad, for example. Our guide, Selene, was wonderful, funny and knowledgeable. Pompeii was amazing, excellent guide named Maria. One tip: we were told we could shop for chocolates, etc. and leave them in the vehicle where it would be kept cool. All of these purchases were melted and ruined. Would highly recommend this tour in spite of melted candy!
Selene was amazing! She was very communicative before the tour began sending me a link for the tickets needed for the Pompeii tour, sending a picture of the port meeting spot and the name of the port. During the tour she was very informative giving us information about the Amalfi coast, sorrento and Positano. Our entire group met about 15 mins before meeting time, Selene was already there and with the luck of no traffic we were able to get extended time in sorrento which included a Limoncello tour and lunch at a restaurant. She even helped us in a locally owned shop to buy some beautiful leather products. Overall this was an amazing experience. We also had a great tour guide in Pompeii named Maria as well. Very knowledgeable about the site.
Pickup at the port was smooth and our guide Polly was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make the whole trip informative and diverting. Positano/Amalfi Coast was just a photo stop/view from the bus window as advertised, so note that. Take meds if motion sensitive. Sorrento Limoncello experience was promoted as a factory tour but was just sampling tasty products in a small shop front area, nothing shown or described as to production. Pompeii did not come alive for the kids. As noted in the description, we had to pay further for entry. Not noted is that the excursion recommended Pompeii tour guide is an additional significant expense. It was a very hot day with no shade, no fault of tour company at all but just made it an arduous yet too brief 2 hours. Bad luck on weather, but 2 hours is very short for Pompeii highlights the way our varied ability group was managed. Better to go straight there before mid-day fry. None of the issues were the fault of our guide, Polly, who was very personable. The driver was great too! The roads are so difficult to navigate and he did a very professional, safe job! The transport was top notch.
Davide and Rosita were wonderful guides...we had a lovely day and they let us customize the order of our stops. We chose Pompeii 1st thing in the AM before it got too hot. Only criticism would be we didn't go to the main gate, which has more level entrance and museum. Make sure you have plenty of time...we had 8 hours but there is so much to see on this excursion, especially if you want some time in Postiatino and Sorrento.
