Itinerary
In the afternoon, your guide and pedicab (cyclo) will come to meet you at your hotel. We will cross the river via Truong Tien Bridge to explore the rest of the ancient Hue city through its streets.
You will visit Tinh Tam Lake and the Imperial Citadel, where the kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945. The visit includes the Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, and the Forbidden Purple City, among others.
Then, your tour guide will take you to Nghinh Luong Dinh wharf to cruise upstream on the Perfume River and admire the scenic landscape, including Truong Tien Bridge, Nghinh Luong Pavilion, and Da Vien islet. After that, the staff will serve a fine-dining experience featuring Hue cuisine on the river boat. You will enjoy a large spread with a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes. After your meal, you will write your wishes on paper and launch them in candle-lit paper boats. After dining, the dragon boat will return to Toa Kham wharf, and a car will transfer you back to your hotel.
