Early in the morning we head south of the city along the Avenue of Volcanoes called so because, if the weather permits, we can observe hills and volcanoes such as Pasochoa, El Corazon, the Ilinizas among others until we reach the Cotopaxi National Park, where we will visit the Interpretation Center, here our guide will explain and answer all your questions about the highest active volcano in the World, after knowing more about the history and curious facts about the Cotopaxi, we continue to visit the Laguna de Limpiopungo and make an interesting hike to observe birds and plants that have adapted to these cold climates
Visit to the indigenous community of Tigua, famous for its indigenous Andean-themed crafts
Here we will make a small stop at the viewpoint of the river toachi
Upon arrival at the site we will make a short walk to the viewpoint of Quilotoa, from this point we will have a breathtaking panoramic view of the Laguna del Quilotoa one of the most beautiful lagoons of volcanic origin in the world and if the weather allows us we will be able to appreciate several of the mountains and volcanoes that are around.

A very pleasant excursion, Roberto was truly the best
Beautiful experience. Day of contrasts of nature. The path is long but you enjoy seeing the landscapes and the explanations of the very approachable and well-prepared guide, Roberto. Volcanoes, crater, lake, Altiplano, moorland, landscapes and small Andean villages. Delicious food. And the peace of seeing little animals and listening to the silence. The driver Harry also made us feel very calm with his good professional work.

We had many doubts about this excursion because of some comments. It was excellent!!! The guide (Roberto) explained a ton of super interesting things to us about geography, flora, and history. The driver (Miguel?? Marcos ??) excellent. We had time to look around and also take photos. We did it on 7/30/2026.

Excellent service, from the first moment we purchased the tour they communicated to coordinate all the details, always with excellent attention, as for the tour it could not be better, you can see the Cotopaxi and the lagoon in a single day, although it is a bit Long the trip, it is very worth it, punctual at the time of departure, they listened to some special recommendations I had, the guide Roberto and the driver Homero were great, always attentive and very willing, I recommend the tour.
