Coron to El Nido 3D2N Group Expedition Trip All Inclusive

Description
What sets our Coron–El Nido expedition apart is that it’s a true island expedition, not just a transfer. We travel in small groups with a local crew, visit remote islands between Coron and El Nido, camp or stay in simple beach huts right on the sand, and keep the vibe personal, flexible, and unhurried—more time in the water, less time following the crowds. Highlights that make us different: ⛵Real off-grid route – remote sandbars, reefs, and villages far from the usual day-tour spots. ⛵Locally owned & operated – your trip directly supports local boatmen, cooks, and communities. ⛵Small-group feel – relaxed atmosphere, campfires, shared meals, and space to breathe. ⛵Island life experience – sleep by the sea, eat fresh island-style food, and unplug properly.

The snorkelling sites were incredible! Some of our most incredible encounters with sea turtles ever. The food was great also. The other activities were not so enjoyable. Karaoke is a loud activity and it’s not great that the whole camp has to listen to it. There’s more that could have been done to make it accommodating for folks not wanting to engage in karaoke, for example some sound barriers between the central tables and the huts. Or just a smaller time frame window and other activities such as cards or poker, that don’t require being blasted by speakers. I also found that during volleyball the guides, who play together very often, were not good at including others in their volleyball team. They don’t pass the ball or anything to me. It was like I didn’t exist the whole game. I was the only woman playing with a bunch of me, which shouldn’t have been a big deal, but they made it less comfortable to be a woman playing by making the stakes a “crawling between the others teams legs” for the team that lost. It was uncomfortable and not inclusive to make stars a male-only accessible activity and that they were so competitive they couldn’t include an outside player properly. I play volleyball regularly and am not a bad player. They just never gave me a chance to even touch the ball outside of service receiving. Additionally, there was issues with free range dogs on the camp area. A dog was inside someone’s hut while they were out and was refusing to leave. The dog was acting really weird - mane it had rabies. And then a guy got bit by a dog and of course was scared of the potential for rabies and had to end the tour early and go back the way he came. The company cannot allow free range dogs with uncertain conditions like this to be around sites where people are camping.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re really glad to hear that you enjoyed the snorkeling sites and your encounters with sea turtles—this is exactly what we hope our guests experience. We’re also happy that you enjoyed the food. At the same time, we truly appreciate your honest feedback on the other aspects of the trip. Regarding the evening activities, we understand that karaoke may not be enjoyable for everyone. We would like to clarify that we already have a cut-off time of 10:00 PM for karaoke to maintain a more relaxed environment for guests. That said, we will review internally if this was properly followed during your stay and make sure this is consistently observed. We also take your feedback about the volleyball activity seriously. Our intention is always to create a fun and inclusive environment for everyone. What you described does not reflect the experience we aim to provide, and we will address this with our team to ensure better inclusion and awareness moving forward. Regarding the dogs at the campsite, we understand your concern. These animals are part of the local island environment, but guest safety is always a priority. We are reviewing how we manage this more strictly to avoid situations like the one you described and to ensure a safer and more comfortable stay for all guests. Thank you again for your feedback—it truly helps us improve and refine the experience we offer. We appreciate you sharing both the highlights and the areas where we can do better. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.
Amazing trip. Definitely worth it 👌🏼. Katala crew were fantastic and the food was unbelievable the whole time 🙏🏼. Days were full of fun, sea, sun, sand, snorkelling and fun/laughter all through the night
