Nice tour but very confusing and contradictory instructions from viator. I think did not list the name of the tour operator and in the chaotic Greek terminal port no one that looked at the tickets from viator had any clue what we were looking for. luckily the tour operator called and reached out to us an ultimate and found us but we almost missed the tour due to the poor instructions from viator. tour itself was fine, anna The guide did a very nice job once we found her!
Very friendly! Magda and Steffano is a great team. They took us to main places in Corfu and give us information about the history and culture of the place as well as recommendation for food and shopping experience.
Anna was wonderful!! Gave us lots of knowledge and answered all our questions. We took the boat ride to the caves, too. Loved that!!! All was well orchestrated and worth our time and money. “Tony” was a great driver, too.
You spend most of the time on the bus, when you go to the beach area where the cave is if you don't go to the cave you will just sit around for 1 hour doing nothing. You stop at another stop and see the airport area on a hill and wasn't that spectacular. Suggest just go to the old city and shop lots of great stores.
Thank you for your feedback. Let us address a few points you raised: 1. This is a 4.5-hour tour, with approximately 40 minutes each way to and from Paleokastritsa. Your calculation of the overall timing spent on the bus seems puzzling to us. 2. The caves in Paleokastritsa are accessible only by boat. Most of our guests choose the optional boat ride to explore them, while others enjoy free time on the beach—swimming or relaxing rather than “doing nothing." 3. We did reach the famous viewpoint for Mouse Island, a perfect photo opportunity. It’s unclear why you looked toward the airport instead—perhaps an alternate scenic interest? 4. This is a sightseeing tour, not a shopping one. While we include some free time in the Old Town where shopping is possible, the primary focus is the historical and cultural experience—but of course, tastes vary. To make the most of your travels anywhere, we strongly recommend basing expectations on the tour description and itinerary rather than assumptions. Safe travels!
Very nice experience either way the support of Katherine, Christopher, it was very god explained and funny
This tour was amazing. Corfu is beautiful and having tour guide Tatyana describe the sites and life in Corfu was awesome (she was amazing). The boat ride showed another view of this beautiful island. Old town - not to be missed. Loved this tour! Highly recommended.
Good tour with Fay. She gave us a lot of information about what we were seeing as we were driving. It was a big bus tour. We took the boat ride to the caves which was fun, water was a little choppy. Kind of tricky to step down into the boat, but people help you. You don't really go into the caves with the boats, they aren't that deep, you go in a little ways and can look around then we went down the coast a ways and into a few different coves. Then we went to another area where there were a lot of shops and restaurants. Nice tour.
Faye did an admirable job keeping a large group moving in the right direction. She shared good knowledge of Corfu history and points of interest. A really good day.
This group was very informative and I received all the standard notifications up to the date of the excursion. They were also very precise about where they would be for pick up and were indeed right where they promised. Right from the start and all the way through, our guide and the driver were both very friendly and helpful. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the tour and any questions any of us had on the tour. She was also very easy to understand. For the life of me, I can't remember her name but she was excellent, with our driver, George. My mom who was with us has mobility issues with walking, and they both were very accommodating and helpful, everywhere we went and every time we got on and exited the bus. This tour has an option to take a boat ride that isn't included with the tour. . .I HIGHLY recommend this option, it was amazing. The option for this will be offered while on the tour, and I believe it will require actual euros, as this part is through another small company on the dock and I don know if they take credit card payments. We were offered a group rate and it came out to about 20 euros a person, but well worth it in what we got to see. Anyway, our wonderful guide and driver gave us plenty of time to explore and were truly the kindest of people. I would absolutely recommend this tour and even take it again WHEN I come back to Corfu. . .Thank you guys so very much, Peter
Informed but dull. Could have read it all before visiting Island. Tour just went to same old places every BUS tour does. Want a small group original tour. Over priced for a full BUS tour
Thank you for your feedback. We’re not sure about the standards in your country, but here in Europe, we refer to such “old places” as historical and archaeological sites—these are precisely the types of attractions that draw tour buses and visitors from around the world. Please note that the 15-person limit shown on Viator refers to the limit per booking, not the overall group size. BTW by global tourism standards, a group of 19 people is still considered small, and a 20-seater vehicle is classified as a minibus, not a full-size coach. If you’d like to better understand the differences in group sizes and pricing, we encourage you to book a tour through your cruise line for comparison. Alternatively, if you prefer a more personalized experience, please look for tours labeled "Private"—these are clearly marked in the title and are typically priced at aprox three times the cost of shared tours. Wishing you safe and enjoyable travels.
