What a great value for money! A great tour. Just be mindful in the midst of Communa 13 it gets busy and it gets tough to keep up with the guide. Otherwise highly recommended.
Luis was an excellent guide with lots of information, enough stops to keep everyone together (lots of walking and hills)
Juan was awesome! He made the experience enjoyable. The tour felt chill, it was as if Juan was showing us around his hometown. I can’t stop thinking about the arepas and that popsicle thing we got to try. Learnt a lot along the way too. Only thing I would add is a designated stop to purchase souvenirs as well as go to the private statures so we could have the option to take pictures.
My partner and I truly enjoyed our self on this tour. I would definitely do this again. My tour guide Luis was impeccable we gave him hell with waiting on us lol but he managed to stay calm collective and very professional. After the tour ended he even helped us to get to Sante Fe mall and told us we could call him if we needed anything. Big up Luis ! From Jamaica 🇯🇲
A huge amount happens on this trip. You use the Medellín metro, cable car and local bus before getting to C13 area. Luis was a great guide and we saw so many parts of Communa 13 on the trip. We also had empanadas, local refreshing hand made ice creams and a beer at an amazing viewpoint at the end. Such a vibrant area, music blaring constantly and a new adventure around every corner.
I had an amazing experience on the Comuna 13 tour with Adrian! He was very nice, friendly, and extremely informative. Adrian taught us so much about the history, culture, and transformation of Comuna 13. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire tour enjoyable and memorable. I really appreciated how he took the time to explain everything and answer our questions. I highly recommend Adrian to anyone visiting Medellín and looking for a great Comuna 13 experience!
In my opinion it’s a must to do when traveling to Colombia, you will not be disappointed at all. The views were amazing. The tour guides are all friendly, easy to talk to, very helpful. I have nothing negative to say about this tour. Book it!
My group and I had such an amazing tour with Luis. Our tour was approximately 2 hours after the earthquake hit and so we weren't able to go on the cable car and the metro but Luis ensured that we still enjoyed our tour. I would definitely recommend
Great insight to the local area, our tour guide Adrian was so knowledgeable and friendly, best thing we did in Medellin.
Meeting point was convienent and tour was informative and we seen a lot and got a lot of information about the area; guide was knowledgable - it was nice at the end of the tour that the guide gave us the option of guiding us back to our meeting point and taking us on the metro or also suggested we order an uber/taxi at our expense to get directly back to our hotel - which the later appealed to us more - such a colourful area with all the murals and great value for the $
