Itinerary
We leave historic Limerick City, and en-route we will view King Johns Castle and the river Shannon. We continue via County Clare to the west coast of Ireland.
We spend 1.5 hours at the Cliffs of Moher - one of the world's greatest natural attractions. The cliffs stand 1/3 the size of the Empire State Building and have large populations of puffins and gannets. You can enjoy a hike or a relaxed walk, while gazing in amazement at this geological and natural beauty. The Cliffs of Moher also have shops and restaurants, anything from snacks and souvenirs available in plenty. Visitor charges at the Cliffs are included in the tour price saving you EUR 10.00. You will also receive a complimentary ticket to the award winning Atlantic Edge exhibition that examines all aspects of the mighty Cliffs of Moher.
We depart from the Cliffs of Moher for a stop in Liscannor a tiny west of Ireland village where you may wish to enjoy a delicious local lunch (optional), maybe a seafood chowder or lamb stew with a regional craft beer (optional). There are options to suit everyone from red meat to vegan and everything in between. On the way we will have superb views of the Atlantic coast and the Aran Islands.
This afternoon we'll round off the day by taking a spectacular drive along the coast through the limestone scenery of the Wild Atlantic Way. The region all around us is known as the Burren - incredible local landscape!
On the way back to Limerick we'll stop for refreshments, restrooms and coffee, sodas, water etc. Instead of stopping at a motorway service station this refreshment stop will be at medieval Bunratty Castle - much more interesting! Enjoy a brief stroll to stretch your legs, grab some quick photos and maybe some quick souvenir purchases from the shop. We'll soon be back on the road to have you back in Limerick to freshen up ahead of evening entertainment arrangements.
We leave Bunratty Castle for the short return drive to Limerick. The tour finishes at 16:30 approx. (Passengers from.UL please note that due to traffic conditions you will be dropped off in the city center)

Pretty good trip - the Cliffs were definitely the highlight. The ride north along the coast afterwards was a bit long. The wi-fi on the bus wasn't working - that was pretty annoying.
Efficient way to visit the Cliffs and the Burren. I enjoyed seeing the Burren more than I expected- it’s almost otherworldly. Our guide was less than enthusiastic about his job but we arrived safely and on-time.
Fantastic guide Shane. Great driving and even better history lesson. Gave us many different stories of ireland and not just our trip. Was extremely friendly.
Connor our guide was very knowledgeable and professional. His input was just right - good balance between vocal information and quiet time to enjoy the view. My only criticism would be that I would have liked more time in Bunratty. Despite the gusty weather I would recommend.
Fantastic experience from start to finish, if you're looking to take on some of Ireland's most breathtaking scenery this is the tour for you. Connor did an amazing job giving in depth historical background of the sites we visited and everything in between. 10/10 experience.
It was a great day tour. We saw so much of the countryside and had a very friendly tour guide. The Cliffs of Moher were very foggy and we didn't really see much from the top, but our guide, Thomas arranged for us to have a boat trip and we got to see the Cliffs from below. It was great.
Very good, many beautiful views. Very well organized by the provider, very nice stops To do.
The cliffs are fantastic as is the stop at the baby cliffs. You do get some amazing views. The lunch stop is a high quality well organised buffet. The coach was very comfortable. The entrance to the cliffs site is very commercialised with tacky gift shops and dire coffee. The trip is about 3 hours off the coach to about 5.5 hours on it.
Very nice tour very great experience after driver was very informative and very friendly. Super knowledgeable and very considerate of everybody’s needs.
The stops along the way were spectacular! Driving the Wild Atlantic Way is an awe inspiring experience if you are the kind of person to enjoy the scenery as you go. If you are likely to just sleep on a bus, then I reccomend doing each of these stops individually.
